@DeKay you like licorice? Me too! Most of the licorice candy I find has so much anise that that's all I can taste, which is too bad, I actually like licorice itself, not anise-posing-as-licorice, though anise is nice too in small doses.

I don't think I've had licorice before, well, at least not the black one. But I find that a lot of people hate it, especially if they like sweet stuff. And I feel like that suits my personality. XD
Only because we're expecting maybe 8 inches of snow and it's well below freezing would I not aim a loaded super-soaker at any cats fighting in my backyard in the wee hours. It would be tempting but I have a heart.
