Wow, these are so beautiful! I love how the sun shines though!
So do I! I just added a glass roof to my sims' home and everything is so bright. No need for lighting during the day. Can't wait to see the effect with weather.
Decided to add a gazebo to my sims house I havent furnished it yet as Im waiting for Seasons to be released. Cant wait to see what this baby looks like in snow!
Wow! This is so incredibly beautiful. Loving everyone's pics! Too bad that I can't build .
Sul Sul!

Once again, thanks everyone for sharing your beautiful creations
@Angela_4588 No I haven't shared it to the Gallery. I would, but I can't share it as a room since it would just be the art studio without the roof and the surrounding structure. I suppose I could share the entire lot, but it's not finished and part of the garden is bugged in that I can't place objects there. I have managed to fix it in the past, so maybe if I try a few things I can share the entire lot. Or I'll crop the lot to be just the gazebo.
@simgirl1010 Thanks for sharing Graham's tweet, it really made my day
@catmando830 I literally only changed the existing roof to a glass roof. I've had this gazebo in my game since early 2016. I recently gave it an honest octagonal roof, and now turned it into a glass roof. As for the rest of the build, that takes a lot of explaining. I do have a tutorial that features similar structures: https://mdianasanders.tumblr.com/post/145651428350/ts4-building-guide-english-estate-park
@CrystalAbyss1 You need a separate roof part for it, and trim the eaves to a minimum (at least that's what I did). I suppose I could put together a mini tutorial with a few pictures.
I am currently playing a household who is living in one of the starter homes in Windenburg, since the space in the house was very tight so I added an extension of a brand new dining room - this costed around $4000 which wasn't so bad! And I am honestly proud of it! I love adding a modern look of the extension from the old cottage house!
I plan on making a much better house for my poor overworked Sim, once I have enough money.
(Not using money cheats, and had to start over a couple days ago - I accidentally deleted one save too many)
In the meantime, I was trying out the glass roof, trying to make a skylight for the tiny house, and it seems really off, or something. I can not see the ceiling/glass roof, (when using Tab ). I can't figure out why it looks like a cutout. What am I doing wrong?
(this is what I mean)
I want to sort this out before i make the indoor pools, skylight kitchen, etc...
Any help/input is appreciated!
@SimplySimazing When in tab mode, try pressing the PgUp key. It'll get you up one floor, but because your in tab mode it won't move the camera. It should display the skylight.

Thanks! I'm going to try that. I never used those keys for Sims.
Wow this is gorgeous! Can't wait to find houses like these on the gallery And definatly going to do some serious changes to my painter Sim's artist studio.
I'm late, but I love this New Feature! I made a glass roof above my second "garconniere" Tower, turning it into a garden workshop, to keep the yard clear.

I'd actually copy it to here, but I have to work tomorrow and it's already kind of past bedtime.
