In my main household, the biggest issue is with Caleb Vatore. He compulsively grabs water and washes hands.

In my second household, the most annoying autonomous activity is trolling teh forums.

    1. When one parent puts the toddler in the high chair to be fed then the other parent takes them out again. Repeat until Social Services arrive and take the kid away because it's starving and you have been trying to feed him since 5pm and it's now midnight.

    2. When I instruct Sims to sit at the same table to eat/socialise there is always one Sim that has to ruin it all by getting up and leaving the conversation, usually to get water or read a book.

    3. When I invite Sims to hang out they make a beeline straight to the computer/bookshelf. They don't even say "hi" - Rude.

4.Speaking of books, they just leave them everywhere, community lots, around the house, on top of cabinets, on shelves. Anywhere.

    5. I can't put speakers/stereos in any of the builds I make, I also delete them from every pre-made lot in the game because Sims just keep dancing.

    6. Sims do not clean up glasses when they have had a drink, I have to hunt them down because they have been placed in weird places and my Sims complain about the "dirty surroundings"

When I've told one Sim to help my toddler but instead another Sim that was something else stops to go grab the child, interrupting the first one. If this were any of the old versions of Sims, I shudder to think of all the shouting and hand waving that would have occurred.

Stop doing what they're told, to instead go to play cards upstairs. This seem to be the new obsession in my household. When they get there though they barely, if at all, play. O.o Whyyy did you stop eating/showering/relieving yourself to go stare at the card table without actually following through?

Now a mix of the problems other have experienced. My toddler was very hungry so I told him to go grab a plate of the healthy food I had cooked (I had given up by then, and turned the autonomy off). He did that BUT instead of sitting down at the sofa right behind him he started wobbling all the way out to the other building I have on the lot. He was so hungry by the time he got out there that I was sitting at the end of my seat almost crying out of fear that they would come take him away. I will lock that building even to him now. It was already locked for everyone else except the household because I have a computer there. Need I say more? The musical chairs is worse than ever.

The water glasses one at least helped getting my kids (responsibility?) points up.

My vampire son was hissing and growling, behaving like he was starving, even though he wasn't hungry at all, and have never had that negative trait. I cured him from vampirism, then turned him back. We'll see if that fixed it.

People getting angry (even family members or friends) because they figured out another Sim is alien even though they weren't even wearing their disguise to begin with.

How has no one mentioned autonomous serenading!? They do it literally every five seconds.

Busy doing something else in your game? Too bad! Time to take 5 cold showers because you're instantly flirty now!

Oh yes another thing that makes my blood boil :D

The only thing that really gets on my nerv is that when I told a Sim to do something or to talk to somebody, they just STAND. Sometimes for 2 Sim hours. And after that they do the thing. It's annoying in active career and when you are out or have a party because you have time limit. I even blew like 2 weddings and several birthdays because when I told them to get married / slice a cake, they just stood there... until party was over and THEN they did the thing.

I guess mine would be weddings. Well at least the guests' behavior at weddings. Why do the sims stand around the altar mid ceremony!? Sometimes even eating while doing so. Is it too much to ask for them to sit and stay seated during the ceremony? It's gotten to the point where I form groups. This works best if you have multiple sims in your household during the wedding. This way, you can have a group not including the bride or groom and have them 'sit together' good luck keeping them seated though! I then have the bride form a group with either her father or loved one so they can 'go here' and walk down the aisle together.

This isn't really my sim's fault but I wish when other sims called my sim to invite them somewhere there was an option like "I'm busy right now but how about in an hour?" and then have that sim call again in an hour. I imagine this to be like phone or computer updates haha just constantly clicking "remind me later" :)

Oh, another one of mine: Autonomous practice singing. It's so friggin' loud when they're bad at it.

To be honest, I usually use the mods for the most annoying autonomous actions. It really makes things easier and more enjoyable. The mod that stops trolling teh forums was probably my first mod to have ever in TS4.
Without mods, drinking water and serenading would be really high on my list. The latter one could be pretty cute, if it wasn't so often. And the worst thing for me is probably that it gives such strong moodlets (flirty for the target and confident for the singer).
Dogs not peeing on the walk are pretty annoying, but I also don't like the fact that cats need a litterbox to go potty. Every now and then I want to take my cat somewhere like a park, but then he starts meowing because there's no litterbox. Seriously? Just go pee in the bushes.
Interactions with pets are also often delayed.

    And of course that:

My sims have the radio playing 24/7... and then it breaks and I have to make them repair it. It feels like I spend all my time turning off stereos in this game! Get it together sims! This is why we can't have nice things!!

One thing that drives me insane is when my Sim is eating, my dog always, always, ALWAYS wants a hug/attention. He could be outside asleep and as soon as I sit down, it's as though something inside him knows and he hops up and says: "Oooooh hooman is eating, time to ask for attention!" I love the big guy, but c'mon man.

Getting a glass of water and washing dishes in the washroom are probably the worst autonomous actions for me.
I also get annoyed with the women's poses when taking photos of them. I don't know, many of them just seem over the top, and you wouldn't see women in real life posing in this manner. I find I actually get much better facial expressions and more natural poses when taking 'candid' photos.

When they decide to clean up dishes, get distracted and drop them on the floor. When toddlers are skill building and someone comes and talks to them which makes it go slower.

My sims refuse to finish reading books even when I direct them to do it. Usually when I tell a sim to do something, they'll keep doing it until the action is finished or I tell them to stop. But regardless of traits or moods, if I tell them to read a book I have to watch them like a hawk to make sure they don't cancel the action on their own and put the book away. Skill books are practically useless now, since my sims won't sit still long enough to gain even a single level. I constantly have to focus on the reading sim to click away any new actions that pop up, to make sure they keep reading instead of doing anything else.

This! Soooo much! It is the most frustrating thing ever. I've even resorted to resetting them as I think they're bugged out.

Another one (and I have mentioned this in another thread) is Sims going to cook when another is cooking. OR, the counters are full (probably with said other Sim cooking) and they take stuff out of the fridge, dump it on the floor, give a wee wave and shrug, then grab MORE ingredients just to do the same thing again. Next thing I have a kitchen with chopping boards everywhere.

The basketball court! I would put one in the backyard, and my Sim will stop what he or she is doing, like cooking. To go and play on the basketball court. It got so bad that I took the basketball court away

When I see my sim cross the street and her daughter(toddler) is right behind her and none of them look at either direction and there’s the trolley coming and a car! :#:# I made a rule to myself if they get clipped by it, I will kill them to make believe a car crash actually happened. >:) So my guys better watch out

^ YESSSS :unamused: that is super annoying

I also get so upset when they don’t eat together at the dining table unless I force them to do it as a group. Even then, they play musical chairs because they like to hug or take pictures together and when they return to the table, the other sim gets up so that sim can sit down and then the other sim sits somewhere else but doesn’t take his food with him. They don’t set up the table as instructed, and they eat anything but the meal I made for them. They also leave the dishes all over the place and the worthless Butler doesn’t do anything about it. Also, when sims try to cook while one sim is already cooking

Another thing is when you ask sims to talk to each other or eat a meal and they go and switch into their bathing suits and chat or eat on the edge of the pool, even though there’s plenty of tables nearby. They could’ve been standing to talk or sit on a nearby bench or couch, but no. Like is the edge of the pool really more comfortable than that expensive couch I bought you?

I also get annoyed by the exercising thing, especially if I’m recording a moment. My sim was proposing to his girlfriend and a random sim started doing push-ups behind them ruining the shot. Also, When sims chime into conversations that obviously weren’t meant for them and then the spouses get sad or upset and start fighting because they were ‘flirting’ when it wasn’t even directed to the random sim that got into the convo.

The talking toilet because my sims talk to it all day long. They’re like best friends so I don’t have the heart to delete it at this point.

When a baby is crying and then every sim but the one sim I instructed to take care of the child gets in the way of the crib. Also, when they do every interaction that wouldn’t help a baby’s needs. It obviously has a dirty diaper that you just reacted to but you rather bounce the baby lol Or putting the toddler in the high chair and the other person immediately takes him out and the baby throws a tantrum and spills paint everywhere because you won’t feed him :rage:

& last but not least, I have free will on and my sims still pee their pants and starve because they rather dance the entire day than take Care of their needs.
