I'm on the fence, but only because I'm waiting for system requirements to come out before I buy. I don't want to buy a game if I don't have a computer that can handle it first. They claim the game won't be as demanding as The Sims 3, but I'm not so sure if they will deliver on that promise. So, I'm waiting before making my decision.
I was hopeful that the CaS Demo would help my fence sitting but as it has yet to arrive I am starting to lose interest.
Maybe eventually getting the demo & seeing the 'true' gameplay trailer (not a staged movie) will sway me one way or another but oddly as someone who has played sims since the very start, I am really undecided.
On the fence right now though I did cancel my pre-order. The price is too high for all the stuff that they changed/took out. BTW... I did not get a demo.
I'm buying, never had a single doubt about doing so.

Is there anything they could take out that would make you change your mind about buying? Just curious is all
Not that I can think of off the top of my head. Yeah I'm annoyed about them removing pools and toddlers, more so the toddlers, but it's stuff I can live without until they add it later.
Not buying. I'm always disappointed when games first come out because of the lack of gameplay options - that's *if* the game actually works properly and isnt filled with bugs (which is a massive shame because once all these things are improved, the game is usually so much fun to play!) So, I'd rather wait a lot longer until the bugs have been fixed and more gameplay options have been introduced - then I'll buy!
I've been on the fence and even though I was lucky enough to get the TS4 CAS Demo it still didn't change my mind. I'd really like EA to show us some in game play to prove the game actually works . 8)
Not buying I was on the fence about to take the leap and preorder until they announced that toddlers were not going to be added. Now I'm gonna wait until I see reviews and features I just have to have as well as get cheaper. I would not be surprised if there is a massive sell around Christmas time.
Not buying, at least not on my current PC. Also not too impressed by some of whats been left out/added so will definitely want to see some reviews & LPs first
I pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe this past weekend! I'm soo excited, this waiting is killing me. Hopefully everyone gets the demo soon, that's gonna make the wait a lot easier.

It's just for fun. I don't think it matters though.
Seems like it is 50/50 anyway some buying, others not but those on the 'fence' will either buy or not anyway
