I've been thinking about this pack today as I typically play families (I can't stand it when played households become empty because the sims have all passed away). Is the pack a good choice? I'm mostly interested in the interactive options like the slide, because there isn't much variety for toddlers to do in the base game nor even with the other packs I own.

Is the Toddler Stuff pack good [RESOLVED] 104 votes
As someone who loves toddlers and raises a lot of kids in my gameplay, I really like the pack. That said though, all of the cc content made by PandaSama for toddlers makes a far better "pack" then the official one. Which is why I voted as "worth getting at a discount" rather than "It's a good pack".
I'm torn here. It was a lot more vital at release with how little there was for toddlers, but more has come out and some content has been made basegame. I still like the playground stuff and play dates are unique, but it does depend on you.
I do appreciate the toddler pack. I use it to add playground equipment to the parks/pools for toddlers to play with. The playdate option that comes with the pack is fun too
I like it as I play a lot of families and my parks would be dismal for my poor toddlers without this pack. The animations for the slide are especially gorgeous.
There is quite a lot of cas too, mostly girls stuff though, but really nice and includes some lovely hairstyles.
I just wish I hadn't decided to get it right when my current toddler is about to age up. Ah well, he'll be getting a sibling and a cousin soon so they can make use of the new items.
I like this one, but that's my style of gameplay obviously if you never play families it's not for you.
The play equipment is great, even the infamous ballpit is great fun. Playdates are very cute but you do need to know the other toddlers which is a huge drawback as not many toddlers get out socialising.
The pack isn’t bad but you do have to remind yourself to use the items. I find most the family’s I play are always so busy witch everything else I never get the time to use the items.
I like the pack, it adds a lot for family play It's great in the 100 Baby Challenge. But with as often as the packs go on sale, I would say wait on the sale to pick it up

This. It's a cute pack and adds some nice items for toddlers but I feel like the game isn't 'starving' for toddler content now as it did when it came out (which was like half a year after toddlers were added).
I like the pack because it adds toddler playground items, which are very welcome when playing toddler families. I also like the cas, though at least 2 of the 6 hairstyles have been removed from the pack and added to base game. The toddler playdates are OK, but it is annoying that you need to get to know other toddlers.

I thought that was the case with the hairstyles, but it's cool. I'm surprised by how big some of the interactive items are though, I didn't anticipate that. Ah well, they won't fit in this one household but there should be room in my other current household, which will be having a 2nd baby soon, and I can upgrade all the parks too.
I like it and use it all of the time. I'm a family player and love the Toddlers in this game. The play gym is great. as for the question about play dates, I've only tried it once and was unimpressed with it. The little ones show up, sometimes, across the street from where the date is supposed to take place. I would much rather the parents show up with them and stay to chat while the kids play together. I haven't used it since the first time.
I like it and use it most all the time. I am a family player as well and love Toddlers in this game. The play dates are, well, could be much better and I was not to impressed.
Top tip: You can read to multiple toddlers (or kids) at once.
i love this i found it out when my sim was divotced ad not only read to the kids he had custody of but his daughter who was visiting.

If you have a mod that allows you to invite unknowns to parties and story progression for toddlers to spawn then it's more useful.

That's the part I'm thinking of, I admit.
Then, I would say it will be worth it for you. I did get mine on sale, but if it's the type of gameplay you enjoy, it's not a bad deal at full price.
