Question About Patching

I recently reinstalled all of my packs up to Into The Future because I don't want my game o be tied to Origin anymore. I'm patched up to version 1.67 and want to stay there. If I install Into the Future, will I have to patch to 1.69. I want to install the EP but don't want to patch any further.

Nope, you can stay on patch 1.67 as long as you have a disc copy of ITF. Patch 1.69 is two years newer than ITF (even patch 1.67 is a bit newer), so the pack will run normally without 1.69.

In terms of the game data itself, there's no difference between 1.67 and 1.69 other than the build number and the store patches that were incorporated into the program files for 1.69. Otherwise, the two patch levels are internally exactly the same.

I think 1.67 had some fixes for ITF too, so after you install ITF, you should run the patch again. You will probably get a message that you already have the latest patch, but you can and should still run it anyway.
