For months I've been trying to buy games for family members who play the sims, but each time I try to take advantage of the sales, or even regular priced items, they are grayed out when I try to buy them because I already own them. Yeah, I own them and now I want my grandkids to own them too. I've tried to contact EA through their help system, but I may as well go out in the street and hollar to the moon to get the same results.
So, think about all the sales you are missing out on because there is no way that I can see on the Origin store to buy a gift for someone else. I've said this before, I'll say it again: I'm glad I'm not a stock owner of EA stocks, you guys think like engineers not business people. I still love you guys, just make it easier for me to spend my money for my kids.
My Origin Name is: Cynconzola8

To note that there are some limitations when sending a gift, listed here: https://help.ea.com/en/help/origin/origin/origin-gifting-issues-and-workarounds/
Also, for the future: keep in mind best place to leave your feedback about Origin is not here, but on the Origin forums. That way it's more likely the Origin team will see it https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/bd-p/origin-general-discussion-en
