Sim clutching Chest

I've been playing with IL since Friday, and I've noticed a new action from my sims. They are doing it a lot to, and It's confusing me. I'm wondering if anyone else is seeing this, or having their sims act like this?

My sim will place their hand over their chest - think like pledge of allegiance - and they will make a scared face and a thought bubbled with a grimacing face (blue in color), and they will take a few deep breaths like something scary just happened to me. There's no moodlet that I'm getting, and I'm drawing a blank because I have no idea what's going on and why they keep doing this.

Does your Sim have the Squeamish trait? If so, that's probably why they're doing that. Squeamish Sims will do that action when around something that's 'dirty' or when you tell them to fish, etc. They're trying to calm themselves down. If they don't have that trait, I don't have a clue. *shrugs*

Happy Simming anyway, I hope you figure it out, and have fun playing with IL! It looks like SO much fun to me!

Nope, non of the sims that are doing this are squeamish. It's just so funny it popped up after installing IL. And thanks! It is fun to play, hope you can get it soon! (if you don't have it already)

Sounds like the Chilled moodlet that have been plaguing my sims randomly.

My Sim did this too, while she was taking samples at the waterfall, and I hoped thought maybe she'd seen a shark, but then she got the thalassophobia moodlet, so maybe they're connected?

That might be it! Not sure though.

Clipping aside, is it something like this?



I have witnessed four deaths by Hysterical. This was my very first emotional death. His wife was next. I have since started the game save with these characters all over again, and now it's his brother-in-law who has died twice. He was Hysterical for a third time, but I pulled that saves file for the copied back up one. I'm sure he would have died yet again, making it five times.

Or, if your Sim is blue, they are freezing to death.

Thank you, I did my best. This CAS is more generous than the previous Sims2 & 3. Spock looks like Spock to me, finally. Thank you @Khitsule for the pointy ears!

It's similar to that but not that. I have emotional deaths disabled vis MCCC. They don't turn blue either. But after playing today, I'm thinking it must be the chilled water glitch that's happening. Because it happened again, except this time the sim I was playing with turned blue while making breakfast.
