Grim question, i know. But i'm wondering. I Managed to make a child a ghost with cheats, which makes me wonder if that was just a coincidence or if it can actually happen.
I saw it happen in Deligracy's "Twins" LP once a long time ago. She was having a dinner party and one of the child sims got into a fountain in the home, the base of which was actually a swimming pool. Because it was so small with the fountain apparatus in it and no ladder, I think the sim got trapped and he drowned. She had no idea it was happening until the drama sting played and the notice dropped down. She was really upset. I have never seen it since, and I've never personally had it happen in a game.

That would make sense. I Turned the child into a ghost by giving them the drowning trait.
I saw some pictures posted by someone, I don't remember who, here on the forums about a fire they had in one of their Sim's homes and one of the children died in the fire. So apparently it's possible.
@Pamtastic72 I am interested but are you sure that's the link? It takes me to some 15 seconds advert on an unlisted video from some dude with 10 subscribers haha
Yes, children can die. Drowning and fire can kill them. I'd say the sauna and puffer fish might be able too. Ive never had those happen, so not for sure. I also seen someone, not sure where tho, say they can die of hunger. Idk about that because i think the social services will take them first.

I was literally about to comment the same thing haha
I ve had a child die from pufferfish poisoning, did nt think it could happen so I did nt pay any attention to the child at my sims dinner party, I was a bit upset afterwards,
I think they can only die of certain things not like adults who die of everything! As when a child is hungry etc. . they will be taken away. I've also heard they can be taken away if their grades are very low...

I've heard that too.

I build things and sometimes share them. I'm not hogging, I'm just slow. I've recently wiped my gallery, so there might not be stuff up for a while.
