Monster under the bed bug

When I was playing with Sims 4 and my female child keep waking up from the monster under her bed. Almost every day. It stopped for a awhile but it is annoying. Help?

I find it happens too often as well, you can use the Koolala defender lamp. You need to place it above or close to the bed and it will stop the monster from appearing.

I finally played a single mom with a young daughter and this issue drove me nuts. I think the occurrence of the monster is more than excessive. If you're not opposed to using mods there's one created to stop it by devilgurl on MTS.

The defender lamp is the first thing I add to any child's room when playing a new family. I don't find that monster amusing so it will remain that way - unless anyone can tell me if the child gains by talking to it?

It is best to place the "coolala defender light " on their bedhead wall, down low on the wall. This can help to prevent the monster appearing. The light needs to be left on all night. There is a picture of the light in this link.
