@misty4m oh yeah I get that I suppose it's just funny when you think not all sims are magnets for these types at least he's done with her. @Binibini it can be, I haven't been able to do this without mods or cheating the in game player trait it's fun though. I have remade Diego many times and this time he's high-maintenance so even though he has a boyfriend and a girlfriend he still needs more affection...from himself lol.
She should be more careful knowing mom is looking in on her, gotta feel a little bad for her though. @Kellogg_J_Kellogg she's super cute. @Lyrie still so depressing.... @Daephene I have seen them but in my game they have the same glitch that everyone else does if you're just a little bit too close or too far away sims will say they can't do it so I just take what I can get. Those are adorable though. @BlueSeaWaves it really is one of those things I really enjoy in the sims 4, I don't know why but ever since we got get together pools just look so plain without something in them. I imagine it's perfectly clean and the plants are fake. They really like boba, that works for me it was a good time I just added the mod I suggested so I am wondering if that might extend prom but now I'll have to wait and see. Gotta love babies, yeah they amuse me, and even though it's mods with the player trait I thought it was fair to share, I don't know why I like them but I clearly need more multiples cause why not.
The kids are real cute in the beginning I don't why I get such a kick out of all the family stuff but it's one of my sims things, he made a fine effort trying to convince her. Also a picture of a new bedroom for a new character I hadn't been planning on playing with I think it's cute.
Mmkay so I was back with my throuple, while it could be glitched or he's not close enough Ishaan hasn't asked to move in and I thought he might be a little lonely so I figured why not add another one? Also I'm messing with the mod I suggested some pages ago for longer parties and more guests, this may have been one or two too many it was functioning fine, people were eating, dancing, and hanging out though there were a couple times one group would pause for a few seconds while the other one was partying getting in there and at least controlling Diego and Scarlett helped quite a bit. Anyhow the girl in the blue dress was the first one she tried, didn't work but I spotted Liberty and that was nice and easy.
Their poor maid was working majorly overtime, the sims ate a ton. Anyhow Liberty has been lonely too she was living with Travis and Summer so long before they took off and started their life together. I found they still are kind of friends but it's not the same and they are busy with their two kids. The attention was nice, and Scarlett learned to be charming from her boyfriends.(that sentence also amuses me.)
It was clearly a very nice party I did have one thing I think it was a glitch or it was as intended since Ishaan has a key to the apartment but the party was overpowered by hanging out with friends event which I believe is base game now...possibly. Anyhow their guests filed out without issues so I guess it still stands that even though this mod is older it doesn't really need to be updated but it was touched up for the growing together and wedding stories parties. I am trying a no culling mod which I think was working but I added mccc back in so I need to take it out.
Diego made sure to send him off with a kiss goodbye though he doesn't really get why he doesn't want to stay, he wasn't going to push him it just kind of tanked. it wasn't like they didn't have room. Anyhow I moved Liberty into a different house and it was so funny to me that my first thought was gosh this house is too base game. I love it all it's come a long way and many items look way better but there is in a fact a nice quality difference from base to expansions of any kind. I didn't do much with it save for her bedroom but fixed a few things and gave her a makeover cause of course she's a base game sim. After spending time with her, it was Easter, Ishaan (I now think I'm spelling the game name wrong who knows) showed up and Scarlett left to see how things would go. Liberty also briefly fought with a random video, at least he was upset anyhow. I have a mod, not sure which one, don't have many but the modules, and she sees him as really ugly which made me feel bad for him.
All the same the boys approve they really like her.

Moving on it was time for Morgan's birthday so I gave her a makeover and let her run away from home cause her family doesn't understand and she moved in with the above-mentioned rando to an old shack of mine, I did give him a little makeover but barely he really was not what Liberty thought. it doesn't help they seem to see her as a real hottie.
He's a few days older than Morgan but it's okay she wanted to make sure he knew he is not infact ugly and all she needs.

The last time I posted, I was starting a Sims 4 legacy challenge, beginning with a homeless, penniless teenager. Thanks to fishing and a little painting, my founder Tobias had managed to reach the first day of young adulthood with a tiny little cabin. Now, um...now he has a teenager in college. It's been a few days.
Although Tobias has strong social skills (medium charisma, Polite trait), he is not much for people and has the Single and Loving it lifestyle, so he's not interested in dating. However, Jada Rosa was...'aggressive' about befriending Tobias, and had soon invited herself to move in. Because I have a mod that allows for casual autonomous romance, soon Jada was packin' heir. I have decided that since Tobias' backstory is of being a geek and Trekkie (and since I'm currently obsessed with ST Strange New Worlds) that every child will get a Star Trek related name. So, say hello Jadzia Winslow!
Jadzia developed a strong interest in books as a kid, and grew up on the computer. She had a little brother on the way, but Jada froze while giving birth, and when I reset her the pregnacy was cleared and MCC wouldn't let me recreate it. Makes the choice of heir easy, I suppose.
Since the family was getting larger, I decided to upgrade The Cabin. Here's what we began with:

And this is the very-sleepy-but-I-need-to-finish-this-before-I-go-to-bed result on the first floor.
No shot of the second floor because it's just bedrooms, bathrooms, and a hallway. Also, I was very sleepy so windows are all over the place.
Jadzia developed into a nice-looking teen sim, and quickly developed friendships with Mei Prescott (yes, the principal), Savannah Price, Morgan Fyres, and Jeb Harris. She has a good mix of skills so far, but is focusing on programming and video gaming. Although I'm playing this legacy by rules that mandate no cheating and normal life span, I will allow her to switch into the Long life span when at university, otherwise she won't have a life by the time she finishes school.
Tobias mentoring Jadzia in painting. Tobias doesn't work beyond painting, and has added the painting aspiration to his list of fulfilled ones.
I'm going to play with the scoring system a bit. Before I was giving points for fulfilled holidays, invitations accepted, etc but that's so much to keep track of it disrupts my playing, and I'm playing it for FUN, not to crunch numbers. I'll use a scoring system that involves things I can look at after the fact, like skills, aspirations, etc.

While Juniper was working at her store everyday she found some time to go to the gym where she met her trainer Krishna, it was different seeing him at a mixer.
One day after a nice date with him she opened up her shop and got everything ready but by the end of the day her last customer was Kemi, she didn't really know how she felt she had seen them together Umber and her but it didn't seem like she knew her. It wasn't so surprising with Wren looking so much like his father, she played nice as the other didn't ruin her family...Juniper did that fine herself.
Afterwards Krishna took her out, for a bit she felt a little homesick but she was happy in Sulani so it was just nice to eat here, she wondered how things could have been if she'd been better but there was no point in regretting right now.
Octavia and Thorne had to come to show off their new makeovers
not that they really cared, she often thought they would end things quickly and she'd just go back to being alone but she was finding it easier to be with Krishna. Not that it was harder with Umber she just hadn't wanted to be there and let it go until she couldn't take it, part of her still felt a little love for him at least what she thought was love. With Krishna it didn't feel like it.
Soon after her business grew more successful she found she was pregnant and waited for the nerves to come but seeing him so happy about it warmed her instead.
"Are you sure you're okay...I know you have more life to live than I do..." she muttered pretending their age difference didn't stick out in her mind.
He scoffed.
"I love you, and I'll be here to prove it."
She beamed, there was still something about being told she was loved first.
"I love you too."
he got her a new house and moved in with her just waiting for when they'd bring their little one home though there something bothering him mostly from old dinner conversations.
"So....? Am I gonna meet your son and your ex? The baby is their family too."
"I don't think they want to see me, I mean you should see her she's beautiful and I wanted to hate her so much, even though she didn't really do anything and I really couldn't." she said absently.
He smiled.
"Then that means you should make peace, I know you miss your son and I bet if he's angry that he has room to miss you too."
She doubted that but she supposed he wasn't completely wrong.
"Will you come with me?"
"Sure baby."
When they arrived and knocked on the door partially open to air out the house Wren called to come on in to the back, they didn't have many neighbors that bothered them but he was used to them stopping by and he didn't know were Umber was.
he stopped short when they came in while he was focused on his little sister.
"Hi Wren...what a nice young man you've turned into."
He grit his teeth remembering how easily she abandoned him to the system without even saying goodbye, he'd seen the house it wasn't even their family's anymore.
"Ms. Juniper." he said icily.
She bit her lip but knew she deserved it, she had begged Krishna not to say anything at first he felt for the boy he just hoped it wouldn't end as poorly as it could.
"I was hoping we could talk."
"I'll get mom and dad... you wait in the living room."
That stung too but she couldn't say much she'd left him rather young after all.
She really wanted to go home and never look back but she made it this far, she'd have to wait it out, at least she had someone.

During the Summer of 1998, Randy Taylor meets Sienna Grove in Chestnut Ridge. He finds her horse Flapjack and they get along like a house on fire:
After a talking to each other for a while, Randy and Sienna discover they have a lot in common and Randy has a new love for horses. Sienna hires Randy to work on on her ranch part time for the rest of the Summer but after learning from Randy that he is about to graduate high school, impressed with Randy Sienna offers him a full time job and accommodation at her Ranch.
Randy goes home to his parents and explains to him that Sienna has asked him to work on ranch the full time. Randy's parent's Tim and Jill are not to sure about this offer so Sienna invites them out to Chestnut Ridge for the long holiday weekend.

I love my characters. I have a long-range goal in mind for Erik, and that keeps me going even through the rough stuff I've had to endure. Like his most recent glitch that stole his life; One. More. Time. AHHHH No worries, he survived the fire in his new home. He was just so silly to light that fire in the fireplace, you know?
I sometimes play something else for a while, different save, different literation of sims, or different game totally. Usually I don't have to wait for long

Although Tobias has strong social skills (medium charisma, Polite trait), he is not much for people and has the Single and Loving it lifestyle, so he's not interested in dating. However, Jada Rosa was...'aggressive' about befriending Tobias, and had soon invited herself to move in. Because I have a mod that allows for casual autonomous romance, soon Jada was packin' heir. I have decided that since Tobias' backstory is of being a geek and Trekkie (and since I'm currently obsessed with ST Strange New Worlds) that every child will get a Star Trek related name. So, say hello Jadzia Winslow!
Jadzia developed a strong interest in books as a kid, and grew up on the computer. She had a little brother on the way, but Jada froze while giving birth, and when I reset her the pregnacy was cleared and MCC wouldn't let me recreate it. Makes the choice of heir easy, I suppose.
Since the family was getting larger, I decided to upgrade The Cabin. Here's what we began with:

And this is the very-sleepy-but-I-need-to-finish-this-before-I-go-to-bed result on the first floor.
No shot of the second floor because it's just bedrooms, bathrooms, and a hallway. Also, I was very sleepy so windows are all over the place.
Jadzia developed into a nice-looking teen sim, and quickly developed friendships with Mei Prescott (yes, the principal), Savannah Price, Morgan Fyres, and Jeb Harris. She has a good mix of skills so far, but is focusing on programming and video gaming. Although I'm playing this legacy by rules that mandate no cheating and normal life span, I will allow her to switch into the Long life span when at university, otherwise she won't have a life by the time she finishes school.
Tobias mentoring Jadzia in painting. Tobias doesn't work beyond painting, and has added the painting aspiration to his list of fulfilled ones.
I'm going to play with the scoring system a bit. Before I was giving points for fulfilled holidays, invitations accepted, etc but that's so much to keep track of it disrupts my playing, and I'm playing it for FUN, not to crunch numbers. I'll use a scoring system that involves things I can look at after the fact, like skills, aspirations, etc.
Thank you! I do wish there were more pet recipes, ones that doesn't include vegetables, as whilst dogs are carnivores, cats are obligate carnivores, meaning they can only eat meat.

mmkay I have too many pics, but I found a stopping point so it could technically be less...heh.
While Juniper was working at her store everyday she found some time to go to the gym where she met her trainer Krishna, it was different seeing him at a mixer.
One day after a nice date with him she opened up her shop and got everything ready but by the end of the day her last customer was Kemi, she didn't really know how she felt she had seen them together Umber and her but it didn't seem like she knew her. It wasn't so surprising with Wren looking so much like his father, she played nice as the other didn't ruin her family...Juniper did that fine herself.
Afterwards Krishna took her out, for a bit she felt a little homesick but she was happy in Sulani so it was just nice to eat here, she wondered how things could have been if she'd been better but there was no point in regretting right now.

not that they really cared, she often thought they would end things quickly and she'd just go back to being alone but she was finding it easier to be with Krishna. Not that it was harder with Umber she just hadn't wanted to be there and let it go until she couldn't take it, part of her still felt a little love for him at least what she thought was love. With Krishna it didn't feel like it.
Soon after her business grew more successful she found she was pregnant and waited for the nerves to come but seeing him so happy about it warmed her instead.
"Are you sure you're okay...I know you have more life to live than I do..." she muttered pretending their age difference didn't stick out in her mind.
He scoffed.
"I love you, and I'll be here to prove it."
She beamed, there was still something about being told she was loved first.
"I love you too."
he got her a new house and moved in with her just waiting for when they'd bring their little one home though there something bothering him mostly from old dinner conversations.
"So....? Am I gonna meet your son and your ex? The baby is their family too."
"I don't think they want to see me, I mean you should see her she's beautiful and I wanted to hate her so much, even though she didn't really do anything and I really couldn't." she said absently.
He smiled.
"Then that means you should make peace, I know you miss your son and I bet if he's angry that he has room to miss you too."
She doubted that but she supposed he wasn't completely wrong.
"Will you come with me?"
"Sure baby."
When they arrived and knocked on the door partially open to air out the house Wren called to come on in to the back, they didn't have many neighbors that bothered them but he was used to them stopping by and he didn't know were Umber was.
he stopped short when they came in while he was focused on his little sister.
"Hi Wren...what a nice young man you've turned into."
He grit his teeth remembering how easily she abandoned him to the system without even saying goodbye, he'd seen the house it wasn't even their family's anymore.
"Ms. Juniper." he said icily.
She bit her lip but knew she deserved it, she had begged Krishna not to say anything at first he felt for the boy he just hoped it wouldn't end as poorly as it could.
"I was hoping we could talk."
"I'll get mom and dad... you wait in the living room."
That stung too but she couldn't say much she'd left him rather young after all.
She really wanted to go home and never look back but she made it this far, she'd have to wait it out, at least she had someone.

During the Summer of 1998, Randy Taylor meets Sienna Grove in Chestnut Ridge. He finds her horse Flapjack and they get along like a house on fire:
After a talking to each other for a while, Randy and Sienna discover they have a lot in common and Randy has a new love for horses. Sienna hires Randy to work on on her ranch part time for the rest of the Summer but after learning from Randy that he is about to graduate high school, impressed with Randy Sienna offers him a full time job and accommodation at her Ranch.
Randy goes home to his parents and explains to him that Sienna has asked him to work on ranch the full time. Randy's parent's Tim and Jill are not to sure about this offer so Sienna invites them out to Chestnut Ridge for the long holiday weekend.

Yep! After aging up, Randy got to go to his high school graduation to receive his diploma:

This is the first time a graduation ceremony has appeared on any of my sim's calendar since Frankie Bheeda aged up in 1992!

I spent an hour or so before work playing around in CAS with Mimi. The first one, and one I think will stick around for her act is this belted military jacket dress...
Then I decided to put together something that's a big departure from her usual look. A look into the future, maybe?
