So I was wondering if there is a way to get the Hermit's House for your regular sims to live in? Thank you in advance

You could type in
testingcheats true
then type in
bb.enablefreebuild
to go into build mode on the Hermit House lot. Save the home to your library, then place the home on the lot in the world where you want your sims to live in the home.
