and I can't get rid of them. I tried restarting the game, rebooting my comp, I reset (Debug) the repairmen but they don't leave. They both will walk almost to the edge of the lot...wave..but they don't disappear. They stand there ..then start talking to each other, then they both come back to the house and knock on the door.
The repair guy in the red overalls will sometimes come in after knocking and start wandering around the house before walking back out and starting the whole process over again. The one blue overall looks like he's hitting an invisible wall when he tries to walk through the door so he never comes in, he just paces between the edge of the lot and the front door. It's like the weirdest bug.
To make it worse neither one will fix anything so I have to repurchase anything that breaks while they're stuck on the lot. Anyway, anyone got ideas on how I can get rid of these guys?

Is there the option to " ask to leave" when they are in the home ? If there is, try using that.
Try having your sim travel to another lot and then home again, and see if the resetting of the lot helps.
Try having your sims move to another lot. Then have them move back to the original home and see if that helps the issue.
You could also shift click the repairmen and add them to your sims household, then delete them through manage households.

Why add them to the household? Couldn't they be deleted from their own Manage Households bin windows? Not from live play, but it's a short trip out to map view.
I'd be leery of adding obviously-bugged-already sims to my household, even for no longer than it takes to delete them. What if it's contagious? Don't laugh... I've definitely seen stranger things, over the years I've been simming.

Hello.
You could delete them from their own manage households section. The last option that I posted was if the other suggestions didn't fix the issue.

Denise Jacquet in Sims2 was bugged so badly she'd cause things and sims all around her to glitch. She quickly earned a KOS tag. Well, delete on sight... but DOS is already taken, so... LOL!!
Contagious. That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it. hahaha!!
