Upgrading graphics card help?

So I'm a noob at computers and graphics, I want to update my graphics card again cause I chose the wrong graphics and got rid of the one i had before which was better. Dum me. Anyways I was wondering if this graphics card would work for my computer, as of now I have nvidia geforce 610 and its not doing a good job sadly. It makes the textures load slowly and those dreaded blue pits of doom keep appearing on every lot, anyways I was hoping if this graphics card would be any better and would it work with my computer? I just want to know if my destop has enough power to run it and is it even a good graphics card? If not can you recommend better nvidia card that has a good price range? I really want to branch out on games for the pc but nothing to expensive. Please let me know! Thanks!

You should take into bestbuy and ask them . That case does not have very good cooling on the dell

The 740 card is still a GT card not a GTX. You want GTX for this game

I dont know if you can add it to the dell but GTX 750 ti - The computer I posted is a new GTX 950 and its better than the 750 ti. Its also better to have an i5 processor than an i3. The game need ram, a good video card and processor to run

PS you need a good case with good cooling when your gaming. That dell is not for gaming

ah omgosh thanks! I might go ahead and get that desktop you posted sense it looks really good, I remember looking at one of those cyberpower pc's and totally forgot about it and just went with what the guy said would be okay. Gonna by it now if you recommend it.. thanks again.

mmm Hard decision, I know its not good on cooling but i don't play long crazy hours. can anyone tell me if i can just add NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 graphics to my computer or will that be a problem? Just not sure if i want to buy a whole new desktop when i already have one.

When I needed to upgrade my graphics a few years ago I had to get a new power supply plus a new motherboard to allow my new graphics card to work. I also got new RAM. I suspect you probably need to upgrade more than just the graphics card and that may not be possible unless your old computer is fairly new.

It's new, just got it last year. okay might as well buy a new one, thanks for helping.

The one that pheobe linked will be a lot easier to upgrade in the future if you need to for any other game. A computer like the cyberpower is built with gaming and upgrading in mind and the Dell is not.

when you get the computer post in the tech section or pm me and Ill help you set the game up. There are things you have to do playing this game on a gaming computer like setting up the video card to run with the game.
