When Sims 3 came out, there was also the store as well and many simmers complained that all of this stuff in the Sims 3 store should be in stuff packs. Now that Sims 4 has come out, there is no store but there are a lot of stuff packs coming out regularly and all I see on these forums and other internet sites is that simmers are complaining that there are too many stuff packs coming out. So the question is: Would you rather have the Store or would you rather have more stuff packs? Think about it. Some simmers could afford to buy some items or all of the items in the Sims 3 Store and some couldn't because of age and credit cards/vouchers and it was a hiccup for many. So EA scrapped the idea of having a store for Sims 4 and dish out game packs and Stuff packs to make up the majority from a store. I would rather have more stuff packs than a store, though I'm hearing rumours that EA might have a Store for Sims 4, I'm on the fence with this rumour-I just don't know what EA's up to later on-whether EA wants more money out of us to have their franchise and to have simmers play their games they create, who knows what's around the corner.
You can say, ''oh definately want the store'', but some say ''no way''.
Question to you: Do you want the store or do you want more stuff packs?
Thanks for reading!
Cheers!

I hope my Sims and lots aren't too terrible!
With a Store, if they repeat it like they did with The Sims 3: Store, then we'd get to buy the content we want, there would probably be some exclusive set content but we'd have the option to pick and buy what we want from a majority of available content, however, this often means that you could end up spending more money than the content would originally be worth if it was in a Stuff Pack, some of The Sims 3: Store Sets are more expensive than The Sims 4: Stuff Packs and add less than half the content with no gameplay, so in other words, you have options but don't be surprised if you have to pay extra to get your way.
With Stuff Packs, content is bundled together and ultimately usually ends up being cheaper overall, now each Stuff Pack comes with 1 or more gameplay objects and some of the objects themselves are getting more special effects, however, if you want something in particular within a Stuff Pack, you have to buy the entire Pack to get it as there probably would be no other way to get that content. So in other words, you get bundled content for cheaper but you don't get to pick what's in that bundle, sometimes you might have a bunch of content you won't use or content you don't feel fit the theme of the Pack.
It's an entirely subjective matter, personally I choose Stuff Packs just because they're cheap and offer allot of content and now even some gameplay for half the price of previous Stuff Packs.
Sometimes your creativity is limited where you use it most, but you can use those limitations to inspire new forms of creativity you may never have thought of beforehand.
@Prink34320 I agree.
However, some of the stuff stopped working all together just as you had bought it from the store. (spellbook anyone?)
This wont happen with the gameplay stuff in the S4 stuff packs.
So conclusion: I will take stuff packs any day over the old store crap.

I would definitely pay $10 for new worlds in sims 4. I mean in sims 3 we paid $20-$40 for them but the thing was unlike sims 4 they sims couldn't travel freely between worlds without moving. That's something I love about sims 4 and is why I'd actually pay about $10 for new worlds. Maybe every world pack could come with 1 new venue type and 2-3 new premium objects. I totally love your idea and now I'm excited about something that might not even happen
By the way I would only pay for new worlds if they were Windenburg or Granite Falls quality as frankly the base game worlds are rather...flat and meh.
As to op I liked how you could watch ads to get simpoints which is what I do but I hate the store in general. It has overpriced items that are terrible quality and half the time barely even work like the Bistro and Business ones.
I was so excited for open for business to come to sims 3 with Midnight Hallows but it was even more dissapointing than Get to Work's retail. If you compare Get to work retail to Savvy Business from sims 3 get to work wins by FAR.
Plus with the Store you had the Complete Your Set thing so if you buy something separate from a set you get a discount on future purchase of the content to that set.
If it wasn't for the simpoint style, and high prices I'd enjoy the Store more. They have several items I want such as Midnight Hollow Gold, Sunlit Tides Gold, The Lucky Simoleon Casino, Farm Fresh Folk Set, Le Cinema Plumbob, Grandpa's Grove, World of Wonder Carousel Collection, Deliciously Indulgent Bakery, and Fowl and Feathers Chicken Coop. Sadly that's well over $100 of Simpoint purchases to afford all of those.
With the Store we saw many things of various themes/use. So there was plenty of things to appeal towards different people's tastes. Don't see that yet with TS4 going on year 2 of its life cycle, but if they keep releasing SPs like this then....
TS4 lacks space, a major major major issue, with no edit ability like in TS2 and TS3 we lack space and have to remove Sims/lots to make space for new DLC content/features. There should be 'world packs' since they feel like selling you additional lots in GPs and EPs anyways.
2. The Sims 3
3. The Sims 4 (5 years later its decent)
4. The Sims 1
This! SP's in TS4 are far better than the "cheaply" made Store stuff.
Terrific Family Play
Too fun
The sims 2 forever
@Sigzy05 Yes, I agree as well
@jimbbq I agree, give us a gamepack already!
@SweetieKaye The store was good and I bought everything at the store, so I'd spend roughly up to $500-$800 mark myself so if TS4 had a store, and it was good stuff, then maybe my arm would be twisted. Thanks for your comment
@Lizziguin definitely agree with more stuff packs, thankyou for your imput
@Chimp2678 CAW would be interesting to have and if there were a store, then yes definatley buy CAW or if CAW was for free, at least we can alter the other worlds with it, thanks for your comment
@peterskywalker We shouldn't have to buy CC anyways, definitely stuff packs are way more better than the store too. Thanks for your comment
They don't even need a store for this if people are worried about bloating their games with stuff they don't want. Release stuff in nice cheap packs, but add a content manager to the game (like in the TS3 launcher) that allows players to disable/uninstall anything they don't want in their game.
