Gimp 2.8

I am trying to learn how to make recolors of Sims 4 content, and I am trying to learn Gimp 2.8. I know how to use the Sims 4 Studio. Can someone tell me how to open a image in Gimp 2.8 ????? Thank You

Hello.
In gimp, press file - then press open- then navigate on the left hand side to where you saved the exported file from Sims 4 studio. Then click open.

Photoshop isn't free like gimp and can be pricey but it is easier to use... I think.
S4s has good tutorials on their site for this, check them out as they're real useful.
