How to Uninstall and Reinstall Origin on a Mac?

I'm having serious glitches with my Origin program (I won't go into details now - I have to continuously restart Origin while downloading or my download speed goes down to 0 and freezes).
I want to try reinstalling the Origin application on my computer, but I can't find anything online about uninstalling cleanly. Anyone know how to do it? I know where to download it, but idk how to get a complete uninstall.
ALSO, if I uninstall Origin, I know I can't play my games until I reinstall it. But I won't have to redownload the games that are already on my computer, do I? I just can't play them?
