hello! i'm a new Mac user and i know how we all love our CC and Mods and what not so i'm wondering what are the things that you have in your games that you love and would recommend for newbies to install :)

Yeah, I would need to check in daily to keep up with that site.
I have so much stuff bookmarked I will need a weekend to try it all.
Got to download at least one set of decent eyes as well, the eyes on the sims are ok but there's just no 'spark' to them. I find the look pretty lifeless & the colours aren't that great.
Not sure if you're allowed to say where you download CC from but if you are I always download from TSR as I love the range of stuff they do :)

yeah i've seen stuff on TSR cause i use that for sims 3 i love them lol
I don't see how to download on that site. I click on an item and all kinds of things pop up and my antivirus system just blocked malicious intrusion. I won't be using that site.
What were you trying to download and which anti virus do you have?
Nothing pops up to me are you sure it's the website? I have no virusus on my pc.

It was the JS Sims site. I saw a cute long button dress, by the time I got to the download page, there were 3 other pages as popups and the dress was for sims 3 anyways.
First is shortcuts for many of the cheats. Turns long wordy cheats into just a couple of letters cheat instead

These are a couple of small mods that make a big difference in my game:
Faster Eating and Drinking when Sims are eating alone is a good mod until EA fixes the issue in a future patch.
Less Or No "Cold In the Middle" improves the microwave so that your Sim can actually use it for a decent quick meal -- I like my Sims to have oatmeal in the mornings when they don't have time to cook a full breakfast or grab leftover cake from the fridge.
You might want to go browse through and see what you like -- if you choose any Script Mods (as opposed to Tuning Mods), you'll need to check the Enable Script Mods box in Game Options.

Ha so it's not the sims 4 blog, it's another website that has malware, you have to be careful with some but for the most part it's clean, someone should get that JS Sims website reported then.
I use JS sims and have never gotten a virus or a report there was a virus... So! I believe Fullspiral has had an issue though if she says she has. JS tends to have a few options to choose from to download items so maybe report the issue to her instead?

I can´t find ANY textures that are .dds, I have some photos that I WANT to appear in my CC

and i'm planning on getting a townie generator reducing mod sometime in the futuré

I think i see the issue already. The textures you want aren't going to be .dds. That's the file that you're going to be exporting and importing into the Sims 4 studio. The texture can be jpg, png, or even a pattern file for Photoshop. You're going to be doing a lot of overlaying, and adjustments.
Open up Sims 4 studio, click to recolor an object, select an object and then click the "texture" tab. Click one of the swatches and then export the .dds file. (if there's more than one, make sure it's not like the shadow or something). I tend to go for the ones that are just a color, usually white or black, or use Desaturate. You're also going to need a plugin in Photoshop that will allow you to open .dds files so there's that as well. Which I assume you haven't gotten to.
It may seem overwhelming but it's pretty easy and with a little practice you'll get better and better. I'm assuming you'll have more questions so feel free to ask.
