Question about Mac Version

What if you bought the disk version of Sims 4 for PC can you still download the Mac version or is it just the Downloaded version

If you own the PC version, you can download the Mac version for free. You just use the product key that came with the disc.

Ok but I tried to put the product code in where it says to on Origin and it it says it's already in use

Mine is showing it being grayed out, but will be available at 10am PST today.

What I did when I bought the disk version for PC is put the product code into Origin and did it that way so yes it's there I'm just not sure what to do now that the Mac version is out.I don't have Mac but my brother does and I'm letting him use my Origin to play.I live on the East Coast of the US so I'm not sure what the time difference is it's 11:38 am here so I'm not sure if it's time yet.

so by 1pm here on the East coast you sign into Origin on his computer and the mac version will be ready to download.

I know my brother figured that out should've just had me log in on his computer lol thanks
