Why aren't ebooks treated like books?

I just noticed that "Read eBook" on the tablet doesn't actually count as reading or finishing reading a book for the purposes of Aspirations, career goals, or whims.

Which really makes no sense, seeing as all of my Sims are passive-aggressively hinting that they only want eBooks, by never putting books back in the bookcase and just leaving them on any handy flat surface, even if it means walking ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE HOUSE to do it.

This is a bug, right? The next patch is going to recognize that an eBook is an actual book?

No idea, but I really hate the book clutter too.
