Saving the whole neighborhood...

Hello,
Does anyone know if its possible to save the whole neighborhood. Like which files and where are they located? I have found how to save the homes individually but I cant find the how to with the whole town.
I have never been one to like EA homes or community lots and would like to do my own. But I don't want to have to reinstall them each individually every time I need to start over for whatever reason floats my boat that day.
I am really really going to miss CAW!!!!
