Store team, how about some Advanced Style?

I wish our elderly Sims could have some more options in their wardrobe, and I want our senior citizens to show off their personality through their clothes! Pleasepleaseplease Store Team, give our elderly Sims some new stylish threads!

I apologize for the picture spam, and also for the lack of images of dapper men!
All the images are borrowed from the fabulous blog Advanced Style.

yes. I love this idea! Maybe we could get a senior citizen's venue and have some CAS in with it (As much as I dislike having build/buy with CAS I would still be okay with this combo)
It's kind of sad that I have to point out that anything I say is only just my opinion and may be a different one from someone else.

Yes! We need a lot of new clothes for our elders, but a senior citizen's venue would also be nice to have:D

Edit: They need to get out and about

I love the idea of new, updated elder clothing!

These images have given me hope too! I have wanted blue hair for so long but for various reasons (work, husband, etc) it just has never happened. Now I can console myself that if I have to wait until I am an elder, I can dye my hair whatever shade I want. Then I won't even have to worry about bleaching it first, either.

I know, right? I have actually wanted blue hair for 20(!) years  But I have had red and black though. The elderly women in these images inspire me and I aspire to be like them when I'm a senior citizen. I tell my friends I want blue or pink hair when I grow old, but they just laugh at me... they don't know I'm completely serious

I love this thread. Those elders inspire me. I think one should be true to oneself, regardless of age. Today I am "only" 52, but my favorite ensemble is jeans, a Black Sabbath tee, and Chuck Taylor's. Ladies, I say, if you want blue or pink hair, go for it! Helen Mirren did it. :) Let me say I'd be the first to line up to buy the kind of awesome clothes for our seniors as our YAs have, and I leave you with my favorite poem.

    Warning

When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick flowers in other people's gardens
    And learn to spit.

You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat
And eat three pounds of sausages at a go
Or only bread and pickle for a week
And hoard pens and pencils and beermats and things in boxes.

But now we must have clothes that keep us dry
And pay our rent and not swear in the street
And set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers.

But maybe I ought to practice a little now?
So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised
When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple.

Though nothing can bring back the hour
    Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower;
We will grieve not, rather find
    Strength in what remains behind

I'm in my mid-thirties and wear my converse shoes until they fall apart, just because I like them this way :D Helen Mirren looked awesome with her pink hair and I want to look just as awesome when I'm her age! Our elderly Sims should absolutely get to wear some of the clothes our YA Sims have!!!

    What a lovely poem!

    I would love this...
My sims can look so stylish when they're in the teen - adult stages, but when they turn into elders. They're style options become severely limited and I hope we can get a set like this soon.

    Hi,

Signed! =) Oh, this is wonderful! Also, please link to the Got a Set Idea" post. There's a few petitions that I've signed recently, but a Senior Center would be great! I have a fashionable grandmother in her late 70s.. I hope they include Jade jewelry.

    Sincerely,
