Different Hairstyle After Showering

I just bought the emo hair from the sim store and I have this weird glitch. After he got out, he was stuck wearing a french hat.. I just went to the mirror to change it back, only to realise the hair was gone. What the hell happened? 
I tried downloading it again, but to no avail. Looks like I wasted my simpoints. :evil:
edit: He's no longer wearing his converse either, which was custom content I downloaded.
