Sims 3 Launcher Issues

I have been having issues with my launcher. Before and after the 1.38 update. When I try to download things from the exchange AND the store it will quit part of the way through and give me an error message saying "There was an error while downloading content. Please see the Log for more details." Also sometimes when I open my launcher I get a scripts error message with this url :http://launcherapi.thesims3.com/launcher/home.html?launcherLocale=en_US&launcherCountry=US

Can anyone help me. I want to download things from the store that I have spent money on. And I cannot. It is driving me crazy. I buy simpoints to buy store items and then I cannot download. Yeah. Thanks for all advice and help.. And yesterday, I spent ALL day un installing all my games and then re installing them. I have ALL EP's and ALL SP's!

    Hi,

    Are you running the latest version of Origin? The download manager should update itself the next time you start it while connected to the internet. Otherwise the latest version of that application can be downloaded from the following link:

    http://www.dm.origin.com/download

    Once the latest Origin client is installed and running, try downloading your Store/Exchange content again.

    If you are still unable to download your Store content, what I suggest in this case is to use the in-game Shop Mode to download and install your purchased items. For more details, please refer to the following link:

    For Exchange content, you can download that via your web browser by using the “Save File” link in the item's detailed description page. When the file is downloaded, place it in the following location:

    Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads

    When that is done, run the launcher and go to the Downloads tab. Now install the Exchange item as you normally would.
