I was wondering if we had to redownload the magic items or were the updates to the Magic Items included in the Supernatural EP? SimGuru Sarah has a thread about that. She says "but if you’ve purchased them from the Store, you’ll get the benefits of these special effects" - I took it that if you had those magic items mentioned in the thread you won't need to redownload them. The benefits are already there if you have them. Obviously if you don't have the magic items, but, you do have Supernatural, you wouldn't get the benefits.

I figured the sims store would be releasing a game update for that?

IIRC, the store team said there were no new interactions with the magic items already available in the store. The only thing they would do is add EXP to any Witch's Magic skill.

I have yet to see a confirmation of this, however, but it would make sense.
