For those of you that love Mortimer Goth....

I have never played him before.

I aged him up to young adult and saved him to my bin for future use (not sure what my plans are yet). I see his traits are Ambitious, Grumpy and Artistic.

So as a young adult I need to add 2 more.

Which traits do you give to YOUR Morty? I'd like him to fit the sim lore as closely as possible, so I am not sure if there are 2 additional traits most simmers would agree on that fit Morty, if it's just a roll of the dice? (I have all EP's, so all traits are available to me!)

Thanks for sharing!

I haven't played Morty myself, but I do recall he is a retired Scientist in TS2, so Genius (as already suggested) would be rather fitting.

In Sims 2 he was in the Science career, I agree with ddsims3world the two extra traits should be Geniue and Perceptive. If Perceptive is not available I would make him a Green Thumb, or Perfectionist.

In Sims 2 he had a roving eye, so I would make him flirty.

    Thank you guys!

I am taking all of these suggestions into consideration!

I think I will definitely make him a genius.

The last trait is variable still, so for anyone else that wants to add their thoughts to this thread, I will be taking mental notes and majority will win. :D

Genius, as said, and I would do Loner. He just seems like kind of a genius-loner lol

I tend to decide his last two traits after I have picked his partner as he usually comes into my households through relationships rather than me starting a game with him and his family. I am fairly kind with his extra traits as grumpy kind of makes him hard to get on with so it needs to be tempered with something that will make him agreeable ;)

I would have popped in sooner, but had to take son to hospital for a follow-up. It's two hours' drive each way so took a fair chunk of my day. At least my son is doing well so the drive was well worth it :D

 Glad he is doing well!

I am a little surprised that you vary the remaining 2 traits TBH. I would have thought you had an idealistic version of how'd he be already and that his last 2 traits would remain a constant, but I can see his grumpy side making him a little prickly. So, whatever you can do to make finding a mate for him easier! :D
