You know you've been playing the Sims too long when...
you refer to your oven as "the launcher" Ya, you know that thing in the kitchen... "the food launcher"
Oh my gosh, I actually did this today.
I was out the other day and saw a particularly odd dressed couple, he in what looked like pleather skinny jeans and she in a horrible pink mini skirt and matching high heel sandals and my first thought was "So this is what it feels like to be dropped into one of my sims games.."

Every time I walk into the Walmart near my house I think to myself "This must be what living in Twinbrook feels like."

I'm playing Sunset Valley after deleting all the original families. EA cannot dress sims, every so often I'll use edit in CAS to make them look more...presentable. Also, all their faces look the same, I have to edit just so people won't all look basically the same, plus for some reason like half the sims are way overweight. Townies rarely are coordinated and unique looking.
I do try to zoom in on things all the time! I was looking at a picture someone posted on the forums sometime last week and i also tried to turn to a different angle when i realized i was not actually in game...oops!

I always want to speed up other games. Or I want to try to build houses that I've seen in real life.

when you see yourself with moodlets, and a mood bar
when you imagine where your "motives" are and wonder how much time left you have to do something before you are no longer in the "green zone"
