Sims 3 - Seasons (feel free to suggest another name I couldn’t think of one lol)
With a new season comes different clothes, when you go into create a sim you will get the option to create 4 different outfits including swim wear every day, formal, sleep wear ect. For each season, for example in the winter months selection of clothes you will find more warn clothes like jumpers, fluffy pyjamas ect. And in summer tank tops, shorts, thin sleep wear ect.
With different seasons brings different wishes
In Spring - Sims will be more likely to wish for things like going to the park, do the laundrey (or get someone else to do it), use the stroller, want to watch and pet wild life, taking the dog for a walk (if you have pets), meeting someone new, making new friends, finding love ect. Also dogs and cats are more likely to want to go hunting, and finding dates for their masters,
In Summer - Sims are more likely to want to go sunbathing, have an ice cream, go to the pool, throw parties, go on holiday (if you have world adventures), sims are more likely to want to go to the beach, use a water slide, attend/crash parties improve their celebrity status, get a hot tub go to a dive bar/lounge ect.
In Autumn - Sims are more like to want to Paint, go fishing, rake leaves, Also sims will be more likely to want to go riding (if you have pets), pets are more likely to want to go hunting, sims are more likely to want to watch the sun set/sun rise
In Winter - Winter will revolve more around the family, helping kids make snow men having snow fights, watching the fire with their husband/wife/boy friend/girlfriend ect. They are also more likely to want to give presents to friends and family members.
Creature/Life state -
When a child builds a snow man they can wish for it to become real they can only wish once and it has to be a snow man they built on their own if their wish is granted then the snow man be comes real, snow men have to be careful thou especially in the summer months as there is a risk of them melting if they stay out in hot weather, but if it rains or snows then they feel happier outside
Or
Sims can become Yetis by sleeping inside an igloo whilst there’s a snow storm, Yetis don’t like to be seen by to many people (especially people they don’t know) thou even if they were originally charismatic or party animals ect. Because if they do one of them might call animal controle and if the yeti doesn’t get away he/she will be killed

There will be bears around town that may pay your home a visit and mess up your trash can but be careful if your sim gets to close it might attack your sim which could be fatal, also bears are will also stay on your lot for a few days sometimes stopping your sims from going to work or school they will also dig up your plants, bears are more likely to be found in spring, summer and the start of autumn, if you get a bear better call animal control
Rabbits will be able to be watched and petted but be careful dogs and cats might want to hunt these lovely little creatures, also rabbits are more common in spring and summer (if your lucky you might be able to befriend and adopt a baby rabbit but it will not be an active member of the family it will be a bit more like birds and snakes ect.
In Autumn you can get thunder storms so be careful, and get in doors before the lightning catches your sim, also if you have pets you better make sure your dogs and cats are inside after so long other wise after the storm (if they’ve been out all the way through the storm) the adoption services might come to get them, if you don’t have a barn for horses you can board them in the EC until the storms over.
In Winter you can get snow storms stopping your sims from going to school or work and there’s a risk of your sims being killed by hail same thing applies with pets and horses as with thunder storms sims can shelter from the hail thou in an igloo if they’ve built one or some one else has
In Summer heat waves can happen so you better keep your sim cool also horses are more likely to get thirsty quicker also fires can brake out with a heat wave keeping fire men busy.

Loves The Heat - these sims cope better in heat waves and are less likely to get sun burnt
Loves the Cold - these sims can last longer in snow storms and love winter
Nature Lover - these sims have a knack for bird watching and learn it quicker than other sims

In Sims 3 Pass Time, Sims have new things to do and skills to learn
New Skills
Football(Soccer)
To learn football sims will have to got to the foot ball pitch or set up there own at homeone kids & teens can also sign up fir it as an after school club this can also be played in a group and your sim can put together a team (a bit like the band) and play other teams at the stadium they can practice with each other or on their own kids and up can learn this skill, if they are athletic then they will learn the skill faster, you can make money with this by winning competions
Golf/mini golf
To learn gold sims will have to go to the golf course or they can always make there own at home, also they only need one hole to learn you can also play it in a group as a completion they can also compete for trophies and semolin’s at the golf lodge (this can also be a self employment job)
Sewing
Sims can learn the sewing skill it’s a bit like inventing and sim foo sims start of with a needle and thread which they can keep in there inventory or on a table, they start by doing practicing then at level 1 they can do tapestries then at level 2 or 3 cross stitch eventually at say level 5 they can use a sewing machine where they can make things like teddies they can also register as self employed with this or as a profession where they have to make things for people ect. You could if this can be a profession, also have the option when they have a high anoth level to design a teddy choosing its ears, outfit ect.
Swimming
To learn swimming all you need is a pool or to go to the local pool, you can take classes at the stadium if you want to, you can also enter swimming compitions and teens and kids can sign up for it as an after school class

Sims can go of hiking adventures sims will enjoy hiking more than sims that aint adventuress
A new drive in theatre will be in the town allowing the option for sims to sit in their cars without having to drive but they don’t nee to be a drive in to sit in there cars they can also interact with people sat with them in theres cars (Click on Car >> Click Name of sim you want to interact with >> choose interaction) and of course you will be able to see your sims interact in the car because well theres windows or no roof to the car

Mermaids/Mermen are talented swimmers for your sim to be come a mermaid they must be a level 10 swimmer and have spent so many hours in the pool mermaids/mermen have the ability to swim in the sea and ponds, when on land they look like normal sims but in the bath or pool or pond or sea ect. They are a mermaid/merman but there is a chance of then falling out of the shower causing a negative moonlit, also if they don’t go swimming after so long they will start to dry up and may die

Kiss hand
Hold close - a bit like a cuddle on a bet, sofa, hot tub, slow dance ect.
Caress
Kiss cheek
Romantic boat ride - if your sim has a boat they can go sailing with the sim (boat could also be used for fishing)
Dates if you choose to have a date at home you can set the time and prepare for your date you can also choose what type eg. Dinner
Sims can also have their friends set them up with a blind date that their friends think is compatible, but the sim might not be aware till last minuet when their friend tells them they have a date to meet at such a time and if they stand them up well they might gain a new enemy
There could also be a dating service that your sim can call and a date will be arranged for them or they could try online dating
Also I think there should be restrauts that are not rabbit holes like they had for sims 2, even thou we can got to a bar and order food or place a food register on a lot and make our own restraunts its not the same as having a waiter and a cook is it, running out on the bill and waiting for the food is it?
Also your sim can set up dates for their friends and can run a self employment job of setting up dates for sims (they will see the traits of the sims they need to find dates for and have to try and find some one compatible or not compatible its up to you)
Also sims should be able to have crushes, and other relation ship things like she likes him but he don’t like her back ect.

Anima Shelter - have the option to keep a dog or cat or horse as a shelter animal (none controllable) It will stay at your shelter in a pen or stable ect. Untill some one comes to adopt it (sims can also drop of animals at the shelter) (If you have Pets)
Puppy/kitten/foal shop, sell you little ones hear to sims
Shop - sell your inventions, sculptures, paintings (sewed items see my other ideas), ect.
Any other ideas wellcome
When working sims will be able to set their open and closing times, and customise their business how ever they want, but they have to keep customers happy and make sure there business in sanitary and acceptable other wise the inspector might close it down, if you change your household then you can go and shop at the sims business that you set up (or drop of a pet)

In sims 3 unknown life sims can try to build rockets and move to another planet filled with aliens, you can send them of on their own or you can send them of with their house hold just make sure your sims makes more friends than enmeys on this planet other wise you may not see them again
Sims back in ordinary towns and citys are also at risk of being abducted by aliens which may curse, harm, confuse, change the sim changeing the sim will change its traits compleatey party animals could become shy, dog people could be come cat people, brave sims could become cowards, confusing and harming a sim will give them a negative moodlet and curseing will cause a sim to have a certain lenth of time left in that time the only way to survive is to build a rocket and go to the strange planet this will cure the sim
The planet will be the new town where sims have to work to move there and even when they move there the household/sim/sims will have no money (simolins are worthless there) to buy a (rather strange) home and will have to try to get a job or make money some other way (the more sims that go to the planet the easier it will be to get enough money, but be carefull no many enemy could have you cursed again and be turned into an alien, you can not return home uness you build another rocket and you may find your house is a bit run down when you get back
Also when cursed your sims skin will turn grean

Personally, I'm uncertain about the swimming one. Seems kinda a hassle and, to be honest, EA's added quite a bit of that already.

Do you mean adult sims? Because there's an issue with the idea of child sims having crushes. It pretty much amounts to the modern world no longer actually believing it's innocent. Even a simple peck on the cheek can be enough to get a child expelled these days, and children have been suspended from their schools for hugging.
So, yeah, what used to be simple innocence is today a source of controversy. Nice job, world.

This is the one that probably won't be produced ever. The reason why is that EA pretty much sold Ambitions as being the Sims 3 take on Open For Business. Needless to say, no one is happy with that for very obvious reasons.
It's actually a very nice update to the original Open For Business. But, it probably won't see release.
Just to let you know, it's already been confirmed by EA that they won't do anything space-related for Sims 3, so this entire idea, while good, won't happen.

You're welcome! I kinda wish we had your version of Open For Business with some features of Ambitions added on instead of Ambitions. But, the decision was made.
Maybe they can recycle some of the ideas into a holiday EP or something?
Oh, and what about a job producing toys for winter in Seasons?
I love your idea of makeing toys in winter I think that would be a great aidition to the game

thanks for your feed back I see what your geting at about the love in the air EP and i like your idea of havein' the option of swiming in pongs and the ocean with seasons
I'd really love the next Expansion Pack to be like "Makin' Magic". Though I love the whole seasons idea, and it adds realism to the game - I think that's just "playing it safe", and not really that exciting. The reason I want a Magic EP is because it opens up a whole other world for the Sims, and feels like a new game, not just an expansion. They could do so much with it, for example:- some Sims carry a "Magic" trait, and when they reach Childhood they get a Wand/spellbook set, but not all Sims poccess the Magic Trait. They could also do a Hogsmeade inspired (you'll get what I mean if you watch/read Harry Potter), type village where all the magic Sims live. It would be so awesome.
honestly, if I were to only get Magic and Seasons for the rest of the Sims series, i'd be a pretty happy camper.

I think that in Sims 2 the seasons made it more real life, and I like the ideas you put in with each season.
But I have heard there only making 2 more expansions and there both new ideas? If it is true it would be a shame =/
