I turn all of my sound off, under options, but I still get sound while playing. Help.

I like to listen to music while playing my sims. When I go under options and turn all the sounds to mute, I even turn all of the audio qualities down, I still get sound when playing. For example when my sim plays the guitar or accomplishes one of their wants. Does anyone know how to completely mute all sound in the while playing. :roll:

I did a search for this problem and your question was only one that came up.
I talk on Skype with a few other Sim players and trying to build or going to map view the music is way to loud to hear my friends. Also when I am creating a Sim I can not hear the VOICE choices for the music is way to loud. I muted everything and the build/buy/map/cas music will not mute and is way to loud.
I hope someone knows a solution to this problem.
