The Sims 3 Not Loading Correctly in Windows 11 on an Alienware System

Hello,
I finally figured out how to get The Sims 3 to load on my Alienware system, however, the initial loading screen is black with the loading bar at the bottom. When it gets to the next screen to select my game, all of the buttons on the screen are blank. When I click my saved game, the screen is white with a loading bar. After a certain amount of time, the game crashes without loading into the game. Does anyone know a fix for any of this?

Do you have a 12th or 13th gen processor?

I have the 13th gen i9 processor. The way I was able to get the game to function was to download and install the Alder lake patch, which was mentioned across this forum and others. I also made sure the games were patched before playing. I googled where to find and download the patches for the games and installed each one. After all this, the game works. I really wish EA would update the game to work on newer processors. I know of a lot of folks who still enjoy this game over the newer one.
