Hey guys! As some of my friends on the other section of the forums know - I've been working on building recreations of some of my favorite New England homes into an empty world!
I was also creating community lots and apartments for that world all myself to make myself a completely separate world of my own design, to play only my favorite sims in, to have it full of only sims I want in it.
I wanted to create this thread to show off some of my
favorite builds I've recreated so far, as well as to see what people think.
A lot of the homes I chose to recreate are older, but beautifully well-kept homes which have been renovated, added onto, and loved very much by generations of people here in New England!
A few houses are newer, and some I don't know the age of - but of those I know the build date, I have recreated homes built in the 1700s, 1800s, the 1930s, etc.
I have, of course,
changed all the address, OF COURSE, for
privacy. But I have photos beside to show what they actually look like. Even the house that has a name, I checked, and no one can figure out where the house is even if they google its name. It does
not bring up relevant results!
These are NOT their real addresses! Remember! I changed them for privacy!
This was build #1:
Build #2:
Build #3:
Build #4:
Build #5:
Build #13:
Inside First Floor
Build #15:
Build #16:
And AGAIN, remember, these are NOT their real addresses!
I play Sims 2, Sims 3, Sims 4, and The Urbz: Sims in the City on gamecube and ds.
Main Game: Sims 3

Can others perhaps test this theory on their browsers as well? Am I correct for more than just my computer? I tried on google chrome and microsoft edge, and both needed to be zoomed to 110% for full image quality...
ETA: Congrats on being mentioned in the Highlight thread!
Build 17 has a really interesting look outside, but the inside is where it really shines:
Progression:
Basement rooms, of course the pink was my favorite!:
I am currently playing a fairy and her plantsim daughter, and while the daughter goes to High School, I have her mother playing in the private investigator track, which I've played before but never reached the top of if I'm remembering correctly. This is a fun profession to play in my custom world because she gets to go out and interact with all my other sims I placed in the world! While she was out working, I got this beautiful sunset screenshot of my 5th build:
My 20th build was based off of a real estate listing I saw online for a house in Arizona, so it's my first house I've ever recreated that I didn't see in New England lol! It's the home I'm currently playing the fairy and her daughter in, because I fell in love with the build
I loved doing the interior! I was inspired by the pictures of the inside of the listing, but I did take a bit of creative license too. I loved making the high wall and windows of the dining area, and the lower ceiling for the sitting area and I thought the ceiling fan fit the part and was cute there:
Another view of the sitting area that I love so much, and of course I'm always making that nectar-cabinet taste-able!
A view of Build 18 which was based on another house nearby, a New England home with detached garage:
I recreated a garden center from my town, and I love it so much. It's got so many parts that I had to separate it into five lots, one of which is also a private residence to look like the person who owns the garden center lives in it.
This is one of the lots, which has the big barn and a little wreath shop:
The entire garden center is set up so that all the lots are seasonal, and while I didn't have my sims visit it during the Autumn (which I regret, because I wish I could show you how it looks then!), Winter has come to the town and I got the most beautiful shots of two of the lots.
But inside, it is cozy and warm, with my teenage plantsim visiting and running into the girl who just called and asked her to prom a few hours ago. She agreed, so they go to prom together in 3 days!

I'm excited that you liked them enough to ask! As of now, none of my builds are available for download...but maybe that could change someday.
