Tooth Brushing

I'm not sure if this would be a cc issue or a game bug but I thought I'd check here as well as at Answers HQ. Since the last patch, my Sim is doing the strangest thing. She will randomly reach behind her into thin air and come back with a toothbrush. Then she brushes her teeth (she can be standing anywhere, doing anything, doesn't matter), you can even see the foaming toothpaste animation and then she spits, again into thin air. It's really weird looking and I've tried repairing my game and updating mods that were out of date and it still happens.
