@bekkasan yes - she does look fantastic to be the mother of 15 young adults. That's the magic of sims. She's still a young adult herself. Now that would be difficult to replicate in real life.
Ariana was one of the first people to get up to eat breakfast.
Afterwards, she took care of Rose while her parents ate.
Daisy used the fish that the family had caught the other day to fertilize the garden. Still waiting on one last watermelon plant to go bad, then she will start to plant one or two of each type of plant the game offers. There will be no more money trees other than the ones that are there currently.
Rain was still at the house from the previous night, and apparently she got sick on something because she went to the bathroom... it couldn't be anything else, right?
Lily loves playing with the toys that her mother, grandmother, and the generations before played with.
Dwight has been getting a lot of MA wishes, so I let him do them for the points.
Ariana chatted with Rain, who got a more modernish look than the fairy look she had. Rain comforted her on the loss of Quinton, and Ariana apologized for being mad that Rain and Dwight were hooking up.
Daisy wanted to spar with someone, so Dwight happily obliged. Daisy got the next belt too.
Then, she spent a bit of quality time with her eldest daughter.
Only played the one day last night so I could play a different save. I didn't have near as much fun as I thought, so I decided I'll abandon it and just play more of the Langerak's tonight. I'm still planning on coming up with something fun near the 4500 page but we still have over 190 pages yet so I've got time.

Oh everything definitely IS getting a reboot these days. And yeah sometimes it's not always a bad thing, but...I get the feeling they are trying to 'modernize' these classics in a not so good way...you know what I mean. I just feel like there's an agenda to erase history because it was so "offensive" and no, we need to know how it was in the past, so we don't repeat it. Ok, I'm off my soapbox now. Sorry.

Just try to think of those 13 years of memories he left you with. It may not always feel like it, but I think remembering is the best tool to soothe grief.

I just turned my computer on and noticed someone had commented on my tutorial video on how to build a dive lot. I clicked on the notification and the first thing I noticed was an ad was running on it. That's the first time I've seen an advertisement on one of my YouTube videos. I get nothing out of it as I'm not monetised but a few months ago YouTube decided they could and would select videos of people who are not monetised and run ads on them. YouTube gets all of the benefit from those ads. I didn't even know they had put ads on that video.

I just realized that Ariana is exactly a genetic clone of her father, Dwight. His female version would look just like her. This means that Daisy is as well since PlantSims resemble who picks them.
Chapter 16.6 – Sprottenham October 2022 – part II: Aftershock.
In the Jiggens/Flansbarne household the parents woke up on this rainy october morning to Iselin screaming in her crib.. Agathi was a little flabbergasted as she muttered still halfway asleep "You'll take this one, Baturney..."
He gave Iselin food in the baby chair, before making breakfast to himself in the kitchen. Agathi simply went back to sleep...
She woke up a little later, and was in need of a bath, but so was Baturney, so she spent some time teaching Ruben to talk while waiting. Baturney was dead tired still, so he returned to bed to get some sleep.
Agathi put on her workwear and sat down to eat a late breakfast while watching the news channel.
News reporter: ".... outside this abandonded peat factory on the outskirts of the small coastal town of Sprottenham, where an international human trafficking and smugglers league was just raided and shut down tonight and.."
This was very exciting news to Agathi the crime novelist! An international league of criminals, here, in her otherwise dull and peaceful hometown! Almost right at her doorstep! Unbelievable! She had to see this for herself!
She quickly scurried out the door and went for a taxi up to the old peat factory, this was so thrilling! She had to go there, observe and take notes, of course, hoping to find something that would give her inspiration for future novels!
"Wow, this really happened! There are police cars here, and the area is closed off! Well, if I just sneak under this band here, I am sure nobody will notice..."
"Oh, this is so exhilarating! I am walking right here, on the scene where some real crime and a police raid just happened!" Agathi was having a field day with this! She walked around the corner of the building, and stumbled across CSI Øystein Juell.

Agathi: Oh, what for? I'm just here on a morning stroll, you know, I find old buildings like this immensely fascinating.. I am also a writer and.... Øystein: No, you can't do that! You have to leave! Agathi: Ok, ok, I'll leave...
Øysten walked on in his direction, and of course, Agathi.. she didn't leave, she continued on her way, snooping around at the old factory..
She stopped by this window to take a peak inside, hoping to observe the investigators in action, when a police officer had spotted her and came running...
Police officer Anders Saleh: Ma'am! Ma'am! You can't stand there! This is area is closed off to the public!
Agathi: Oh, I am sorry officer, I am just so fascinated by these old buildings...
Anders: Ma'am! With all due respect, this is a serious crime scene not an amusement park! You should be happy I'm not arresting you for trespassing! You have to leave the area or I will take you to the station!

Even though she just almost got herself arrested, Agathi still found this to be a very stimulating experience! To bad she had to go to work at the community theatre again, because right now she could have almost killed someone to have the opportunity to go home and write! Well, almost!
While Agathi went to work, Baturney was still sleeping and Ruben and Iselin were playing with their toys.

Vetle: Hello? Yes, my wife? Where is she? Has something happened? Is she ok?
Lamshey: Your wife is doing fine, given the circumstances... she's at the police station, in our custody..
Vetle: Why!? What happened!?
Lamshey: Your wife, there is no way to say this with ease... she is under arrest being charged for kidnapping, human trafficking, smuggling, trade and possession of illegal goods...
Lamshey: You didn't know about your wifes partaking in these operations, sir?
Vetle: No, I... I.. I didn't... I didn't know it was this.. Can I come see her?
Lamshey: I am sorry, I cannot grant your request at this moment...

Later that night Wendy Strandheim was seen shaking it off and enjoying her new found freedom on the dance floor at The Elegant Flame, before she quickly changed into a fire fighting uniform, so she is no longer unemployed.
After writing for a while, Agathi eventually got tired and went to bed, though Baturney was still up playing with the doll house, after having slept pretty much all day...
Anyway, I think with this, it is time to say good night to our friends here, for now.

I’m gonna let Dwight age up instead of keeping him immortal. He’ll do it naturally so he might be around at least 40 more Sim days but I had him move out on his own. When Ariana dies, then it’ll only be Goths in the household but I had my reasons for doing this.

Life in Aurora Skies - Pt.1
Narrated by Donny Lorde and Lisa Dawnlight
Donny: I just inherited a house in Aurora Skies from my late Aunt who just passed away a few months ago, so Lisa and I had packed up our belongings and left the city life of Bridgeport as we were getting tired of the hustle and bustle of city life as well as the creatures that roam the streets at night looking for their next victim. Bridgeport had became too overrun with vampires which made it very unsafe to go out at night, so we tried to do our shopping and any fun activities that we wanted to do during the daylight hours. And yes, there was a vampire or 2 out during the daytime due to them drinking vampiric sunscreen that they either got from a local alchemist, witches or that they made themselves so that they could move about during the day to do their business but luckily enough they didn't bother the people that was out and about doing whatever they needed to do unless of course you had a rogue vampire who didn't care about the vampire laws that was put in place to protect the citizens of Bridgeport. And if one did break the vampire laws, then they were punished by either being thrown out of the city forever or destroyed depending on the crime that they committed. But word got around the town that the exiled vampires were banding together and making plans to storm Bridgeport to oust out the vampire leaders and their loyal followers and get rid of the vampire laws. So our move came at a perfect time so that we wouldn't be caught up in the rogue vampire takeover and possibly become food for the vamps if the rumors were true about the takeover.
So this is the house that my Aunt left me in her will. It's located at 29 Foss View Road. It has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, living room and a kitchen and a big backyard. She was a homemaker and wife until her husband passed away a few years before her. She loved canning food and baking at every chance that she got, that is until she took sick and passed away. I had no idea that the house was left to me until her lawyer called and had set up a meeting about her will. He handed over the deed to the house and papers for me to sign and telling us that we can move in whenever we wanted to and that the was already furnished. Of course Lisa and I will be upgrading the furniture as well as adding onto the house, we're just not going to do that all right now because we want to get settled in and go to college to try to get some degrees as I want to go into the military. Yes I know that one doesn't need a degree to go into the military but it helps as you can start at a higher level depending on your final grade as well as having a high pay than someone who doesn't have a degree. And for Lisa, she wants to get in the medical career.
Donny: Even though I have been to the house in the past, Lisa has never been here when I used to visit my aunt, so this is the first time that she's been here.
Lisa: Yes, he's right that I have never been here but I have seen pictures of the outside of it when Donny was little and playing around the backyard which we had fenced in after moving in so that one of these days, I might add a garden to our yard or a swimming pool but right now we need to worry about how we are going to maintain the household. Granted that Donny also inherited his Aunt's money which was over 250,000 simoleons but if we don't get jobs or something to earn more money, we're be poor if we were to start redesigning the house to add a 2nd floor and to expend the kitchen to make it bigger than what it is and to do whatever else that we want to do to the house.
So we go inside of the house so that Donny can show me around and such which didn't take long to do since it's small on the inside of the house but hopefully I will get used to it soon enough. Donny tried to tell me that he used to believe that the house used to be haunted when he was a little boy and I told him that he was just imagining things as he used to read those scary comic books as a boy.
Donny: But the house was haunted when I used to come over here as a little boy. The ghost was of a small boy that became my friend when I was little but was gone when I grew up. Lisa rolling her eyes at Donny: Yeah sure Donny. That was just your overactive imagination that you used to have as a little boy. Donny: Hush Lisa, I know what I saw as a kid and you can't tell me any differently.
Lisa: Yeah, yeah , ye....
Donny: Okay now that I shut you up about the ghost, let's talk about something else. Lisa: Okay if you insist. What do you want to talk about? Donny: Have I told you lately that I love you and that you look hot? Lisa: Yes, everyday. But you can tell me again as I feel the same way about you.
Donny: Hey about we have a pillow fight since we don't have to worry about the neighbors knocking on the walls or the floors if we get a little to rough and loud? Lisa: Sure, why not. This will be fun. Donny: Boy this is fun but I just wish that there was more room in the living room so that we're not too close to the window.
It seems that the household as a visitor dressed as a llama mascot for the university that's located a couple of hours away but they're not too worried about greeting him.
Donny & Lisa: Someone is at the door. Donny: Just don't worry about it and hopefully they will go away.
Lisa getting mad: HEY! You just hit me in my nose and now it hurts. Donny: I'm sorry. I don't mean to hit you there. Lisa: Whatever! Donny: I said that I was sorry. Isn't that enough? Lisa: I need to teach you a thing or 2 about pillow fighting like where you can hit at and not to hit at.
Donny: Oh come Lisa, lighten up some! I know what will make you laugh and make you feel better. Lisa: And just what will make me laugh and feel better? Donny: This.
Lisa: That's just too funny. Here's my funny face to you. Donny: See now, didn't I tell you that I could make you laugh? Lisa: Yes!

^Indeed. It's the place where the founder of our church (and first prophet) Joseph Smith was martyred. At the jail there. It still stands today and they do tours through it.
We went and visited there when I was 15 or 16(?). I remember checking out the grounds outside of the jail after the tour and looking over at my mom staring up at the window that Joseph fell out of (after he was shot by the mob that burst into the jail) and holding her hand to her chest and getting choked up. It's never easy to see my mom cry and it was another moment where I could see and feel the depth of love she carried for that man, our religion, and the legacy he left behind that so greatly blessed our lives. Anyway.

Think I may rotate between the main household and Dwight’s. Aging will be shut off when playing Dwight and the others will be in a caste to restrict just about everything they do. I also got a mod that enhances PlantSims so Daisy actually has a few abilities now.

Daisy used the fish that the family had caught the other day to fertilize the garden. Still waiting on one last watermelon plant to go bad, then she will start to plant one or two of each type of plant the game offers. There will be no more money trees other than the ones that are there currently.
Rain was still at the house from the previous night, and apparently she got sick on something because she went to the bathroom... it couldn't be anything else, right?
Lily loves playing with the toys that her mother, grandmother, and the generations before played with.
Dwight has been getting a lot of MA wishes, so I let him do them for the points.
Ariana chatted with Rain, who got a more modernish look than the fairy look she had. Rain comforted her on the loss of Quinton, and Ariana apologized for being mad that Rain and Dwight were hooking up.
Daisy wanted to spar with someone, so Dwight happily obliged. Daisy got the next belt too.
Then, she spent a bit of quality time with her eldest daughter.

I just turned my computer on and noticed someone had commented on my tutorial video on how to build a dive lot. I clicked on the notification and the first thing I noticed was an ad was running on it. That's the first time I've seen an advertisement on one of my YouTube videos. I get nothing out of it as I'm not monetised but a few months ago YouTube decided they could and would select videos of people who are not monetised and run ads on them. YouTube gets all of the benefit from those ads. I didn't even know they had put ads on that video.

In the Jiggens/Flansbarne household the parents woke up on this rainy october morning to Iselin screaming in her crib.. Agathi was a little flabbergasted as she muttered still halfway asleep "You'll take this one, Baturney..."
He gave Iselin food in the baby chair, before making breakfast to himself in the kitchen. Agathi simply went back to sleep...
She woke up a little later, and was in need of a bath, but so was Baturney, so she spent some time teaching Ruben to talk while waiting. Baturney was dead tired still, so he returned to bed to get some sleep.
Agathi put on her workwear and sat down to eat a late breakfast while watching the news channel.
News reporter: ".... outside this abandonded peat factory on the outskirts of the small coastal town of Sprottenham, where an international human trafficking and smugglers league was just raided and shut down tonight and.."
This was very exciting news to Agathi the crime novelist! An international league of criminals, here, in her otherwise dull and peaceful hometown! Almost right at her doorstep! Unbelievable! She had to see this for herself!
She quickly scurried out the door and went for a taxi up to the old peat factory, this was so thrilling! She had to go there, observe and take notes, of course, hoping to find something that would give her inspiration for future novels!
"Wow, this really happened! There are police cars here, and the area is closed off! Well, if I just sneak under this band here, I am sure nobody will notice..."
"Oh, this is so exhilarating! I am walking right here, on the scene where some real crime and a police raid just happened!" Agathi was having a field day with this! She walked around the corner of the building, and stumbled across CSI Øystein Juell.

Even though she just almost got herself arrested, Agathi still found this to be a very stimulating experience! To bad she had to go to work at the community theatre again, because right now she could have almost killed someone to have the opportunity to go home and write! Well, almost!

Later that night Wendy Strandheim was seen shaking it off and enjoying her new found freedom on the dance floor at The Elegant Flame, before she quickly changed into a fire fighting uniform, so she is no longer unemployed.
After writing for a while, Agathi eventually got tired and went to bed, though Baturney was still up playing with the doll house, after having slept pretty much all day...
Anyway, I think with this, it is time to say good night to our friends here, for now.

Donny: I just inherited a house in Aurora Skies from my late Aunt who just passed away a few months ago, so Lisa and I had packed up our belongings and left the city life of Bridgeport as we were getting tired of the hustle and bustle of city life as well as the creatures that roam the streets at night looking for their next victim. Bridgeport had became too overrun with vampires which made it very unsafe to go out at night, so we tried to do our shopping and any fun activities that we wanted to do during the daylight hours. And yes, there was a vampire or 2 out during the daytime due to them drinking vampiric sunscreen that they either got from a local alchemist, witches or that they made themselves so that they could move about during the day to do their business but luckily enough they didn't bother the people that was out and about doing whatever they needed to do unless of course you had a rogue vampire who didn't care about the vampire laws that was put in place to protect the citizens of Bridgeport. And if one did break the vampire laws, then they were punished by either being thrown out of the city forever or destroyed depending on the crime that they committed. But word got around the town that the exiled vampires were banding together and making plans to storm Bridgeport to oust out the vampire leaders and their loyal followers and get rid of the vampire laws. So our move came at a perfect time so that we wouldn't be caught up in the rogue vampire takeover and possibly become food for the vamps if the rumors were true about the takeover.
So this is the house that my Aunt left me in her will. It's located at 29 Foss View Road. It has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, living room and a kitchen and a big backyard. She was a homemaker and wife until her husband passed away a few years before her. She loved canning food and baking at every chance that she got, that is until she took sick and passed away. I had no idea that the house was left to me until her lawyer called and had set up a meeting about her will. He handed over the deed to the house and papers for me to sign and telling us that we can move in whenever we wanted to and that the was already furnished. Of course Lisa and I will be upgrading the furniture as well as adding onto the house, we're just not going to do that all right now because we want to get settled in and go to college to try to get some degrees as I want to go into the military. Yes I know that one doesn't need a degree to go into the military but it helps as you can start at a higher level depending on your final grade as well as having a high pay than someone who doesn't have a degree. And for Lisa, she wants to get in the medical career.
Donny: Even though I have been to the house in the past, Lisa has never been here when I used to visit my aunt, so this is the first time that she's been here.
Lisa: Yes, he's right that I have never been here but I have seen pictures of the outside of it when Donny was little and playing around the backyard which we had fenced in after moving in so that one of these days, I might add a garden to our yard or a swimming pool but right now we need to worry about how we are going to maintain the household. Granted that Donny also inherited his Aunt's money which was over 250,000 simoleons but if we don't get jobs or something to earn more money, we're be poor if we were to start redesigning the house to add a 2nd floor and to expend the kitchen to make it bigger than what it is and to do whatever else that we want to do to the house.
So we go inside of the house so that Donny can show me around and such which didn't take long to do since it's small on the inside of the house but hopefully I will get used to it soon enough. Donny tried to tell me that he used to believe that the house used to be haunted when he was a little boy and I told him that he was just imagining things as he used to read those scary comic books as a boy.
Donny: But the house was haunted when I used to come over here as a little boy. The ghost was of a small boy that became my friend when I was little but was gone when I grew up.
Lisa rolling her eyes at Donny: Yeah sure Donny. That was just your overactive imagination that you used to have as a little boy.
Donny: Hush Lisa, I know what I saw as a kid and you can't tell me any differently.
Lisa: Yeah, yeah , ye....
Donny: Okay now that I shut you up about the ghost, let's talk about something else.
Lisa: Okay if you insist. What do you want to talk about?
Donny: Have I told you lately that I love you and that you look hot?
Lisa: Yes, everyday. But you can tell me again as I feel the same way about you.
Donny: Hey about we have a pillow fight since we don't have to worry about the neighbors knocking on the walls or the floors if we get a little to rough and loud?
Lisa: Sure, why not. This will be fun.
Donny: Boy this is fun but I just wish that there was more room in the living room so that we're not too close to the window.
It seems that the household as a visitor dressed as a llama mascot for the university that's located a couple of hours away but they're not too worried about greeting him.
Donny & Lisa: Someone is at the door.
Donny: Just don't worry about it and hopefully they will go away.
Lisa getting mad: HEY! You just hit me in my nose and now it hurts.
Donny: I'm sorry. I don't mean to hit you there.
Lisa: Whatever!

Lisa: I need to teach you a thing or 2 about pillow fighting like where you can hit at and not to hit at.

@Karritz YouTube is getting corrupt imho. I miss the glory days of it. And their monetizing is awful now! I feel really bad for those who have made a living on it for years and now they aren't as much so they have to have sponsors - and advertise their stuff - to keep their channels afloat.

I think I’m getting a 4TB SSD drive this time for internal. And this time it’s gonna be a gaming laptop (then a save up for desktop gaming PC) when we get settled for good.
