It's been like four years and their goal is still to improve transparency. At least they are... consistent. And I don't get why bunk beds need to be implemented in a meaningful way. It's a bed. We don't need a lot of quirky and weird interactions for it that take 50% of the pack's resources. They also had more than enough…
That's something I'm still quite upset with. Every teaser, hint or Q&A about future packs happens on Twitter and then you have Simmers here who create a thread, sort it and try to keep the information in one place on the official Sims forum for all the Simmers who don't follow 20+ Gurus for every piece of information…
We'll not get three careers in one SP. Many people seem to misunderstand this and think we'll get all items listed but we will not. (Source) Also, we already have a Haunted lot trait. Unbelievable that they try to even resell that one.
I'm sure a lot of people are overlooking that aspect and will end up being disappointed because only one career made it into the pack or only knitting.
So I reread it and maybe I misunderstood something. It sounded to me like your Sims in college will get a mediocre degree if you keep them there and play another household with aging turned on for everyone. But rereading it I see it says "unplayed Sims", so that seemed to have been a misunderstanding on my part! I need to…
Thank you for your long rant about these stoves because I still can't wrap my head around it. WHY is that a thing? Why? Why put such an immense restriction on a game that is all about telling our own stories? Why do the devs constantly take away options? It's a relatively small detail, but I'm so angry about this because…
I agree with you. That trailer was cringy like they were really trying hard to only reach a specific target group, again. And yeah, a lot of it seems recycled and reused. You gave some good examples already - A lot of it just seems like a normal community lot. I'm also worried that we still haven't heard/seen anything…
The only new things I noticed are the mentions of two new careers (engineer and lawyer), a sneak peek at the secret society (which hopefully won't just be a Get Together club) and the ability to take out loans. Everything else was already known I think.
Honest question - Why do people expect bunk beds in a University EP? I don't know any university student who has a bunk bed. In my country they're mostly for children and in TS3 they were only usable by children as well. I do want them in TS4, but I always associated them with a family/children pack (Parenthood would have…
I agree with that. When TS2 University was released it was amazing for me and I enjoyed it so much. But I played a Sim in University again last month and it was boring - Your Sim will write their paper on their computer for a few hours, then learn a skill point and at this point you're already set up for the rest of the…
I feel embarrassed that I actually gave them the benefit of the doubt. Yesterday I thought "There's no way these costumes will be for adults only, right? They probably didn't show the children in the pic, but it would make no sense to exclude them." I thought I didn't even have any expectations anymore, but they keep on…
How many times did they hype something up and ended up disappointing so many people? Don't get your hopes up because they certainly don't learn from their mistakes.
That's just the Moshino SP though (the clothes look exactly like the stuff they actually sell). I only remember EP usually have a patch close to release date, but is it the same thing for SP? Never paid attention to be honest.
Is that the new intro we get when we start the game? I thought they actually included a cute video like TS2 and TS3 had. Can't believe even that is disappointing
At this point I would take pretty much anything. I'm starved for occults. And I want them fleshed out like vampires because mermaids were a big disappointment for me and I can put them in the same box with aliens and plant Sims. They just feel like Sims with costumes and a handful of special interactions.

It could be the new bug many of us have since the last patch - Plates and toys will be "stuck to the toddler's hands" (you can usually see it when they're standing still). Using the cheat "resetSim [Sim name]" fixes it for a while.
I just thought the exact same - It took them around four years to add lounge chairs while they constantly announced how difficult the animations for it are and we just got some halfhearted attempt. I don't even dare dream about hammocks now, though it would have been really nice to have them in this pack. Side note - The…
I wonder where that rumor originally came from. There are so many people who created deadly, evil mermaids and they all seem to realize now that you can't really drown other Sims. It's quite upsetting.
In 2016 they said multiple times that lounge chairs are expensive and a lot of effort to create because of all the multitasking and needed animations. https://forums.thesims.com/en_us/discussion/comment/14718178/#Comment_14718178 "The Sims 4 is support for multitasking across the board, so it isn't acceptable to us to ship…
