  • I get what you mean. I do like some of them though, they're basically just the team's version of challenges from the community. It's noce to do a challenge and have the rules up on screen etc but yeah, theyre usually lackluster and aren't as big or popular of a feature as the team seems to think they are.
  • Anyone else still having the issue of adult sims putting toddlers in highchairs to feed them, then immediately taking them out? Had my THIRD toddler taken away because they couldn't eat in the high chair, and I'm usually too busy with the other sims in the household to get a plate of leftovers out of the fridge, get the…
  • This looks fun! I only have base game and a couple other packs though. Is there a way to do this base-game friendly?
  • I do almost get your point, I'm also frustrated with the way TS4 is going but... you're so vague. There can't be any change or feedback or even anyone agreeing with you if you don't state your point. I myself dislike TS4 compared to the other games, but the others are still there. I still play TS2 because it was the best…
  • Sims 1 100%. It was great for the time, but compared to the others... it's obvously terrible. My favourite is probably The Sims 4 but only for the interface. The modern graphics, the smooth camera rotation, easy to move walls and foundations etc, the features are neat. But then again, TS4 furnishings are a little…
  • > @jellybelly_3 said: > Exactly!!! Paralives is going its own route and I hope the team does not fall under any pressure because what they have going now is excellent, grade A work! Did you see the recent updates? They said they were pushing back a little on suggestions and features to not get too overly-ambitious. I'm…
  • Eugh, seems like the sims team is still missing the mark :/ At least theres *some* bug fixes. Just not the most important ones.
  • Cannibals eat their victims before sleep.
  • Herbs
  • I personally can't wait for Paralives, I've been following it for months. It's definitely unfair that people are trying to push the indie devs way too hard and holding them to the standards of a decade-spanning, massive budget game like the current sims games. I don't think people realise that not every…
  • Love that this thread has been going since 2015. Hi! I'm Vulp, I'm 20 and have been playing since I used the big clunky family computer as a child to play The Sims 2 and Theme Hospital. I do play both TS4 and TS2 but I MUCH prefer TS2. I don't have many packs for TS4 because it's just so much money, but I do play [and…
  • Sims 2 is absolutely my favourite of all the games. I hope you're enjoying it so far!
  • I don't have the university or high school pack, but it would be nice if sims could get a degree in something, and then that would affect their work. I.e., they unlock some degree-only jobs rather than just earning a bit more in jobs you don't need the degree for.
  • Just here to rant a little. The fear system is godawful. Every one of my sims constantly has the fear or fire or fear of the dark. As soon as I get rid of it, within a day or two it's back. It's just so repetetive. I feel like it was another attempt of EA to try to make sims more individual and have more personality, but…
  • The EA app is far better for me! Origin was so slow and I recently just couldn't launch TS4 at all because when the launcher opened, Origin would crash my PC. I tried everything to fix it and it just didn't. I'm SO glad theres the EA app now, and it works exactly the same, just better optimised and it doesn't crash my…
