We Are Sim is an awesome forum to hang out at. There are tons of games and posts to reply to and there's always the Challenge and the Contest to look forward to! Check it out! http://thewearesimforums.proboards.com
Lots of great things about The Simmers Club! It's great for people who want to talk about the Sims, and not only the Sims - it's great for talking about just about anything! There's an exchange to upload your creations and a chat to talk amongst other Simmers about your games. I would definitely recommend it! Stop on by…
OP, calm down! Enjoy the EPs we have now. Animals WILL be coming to The Sims 3 sometime, I'm sure they wouldn't leave them out. They're just trying to figure out the right way to implement animals into the game - I'm sure it will be difficult. I've been complaining about not having a piano in the game since the base game…
You don't need a mod, it's better not having one! I usually always have boy/girl twins. I don't think I've ever had boy/boy or girl/girl twins. I have yet to have triplets though... I guess watching Kids TV helps a lot with chances for triplets?
I have been a member of We Are Sim since... well, I can't even remember how long it's been! But I have loved every moment of being a member. It's a great site and has a lot of potential - I can't wait for more people to join in on the fun!
To the original poster... I. LOVE. This idea. Having my Sims stranded on a mysterious desert island and making a living for themselves is my idea of a dream game. I was very entertained by your ideas, thanks for sharing! What would be especially awesome would be adding some kind of twist to the island and make it kind of…
I really enjoy the road that EA has taken with The Sims 3. But then again, I personally enjoy games where I have to complete objectives. The Sims 3 has a lot of both though. You can do whatever you want and completely ignore the objectives and "quests" if you want. The way I see it, life is full of "quests" and objectives.…
I had this same problem... but it randomly decided to work for me one day :? Sorry I can't be of any help, but maybe it's a glitch that could fix itself? Unless I got my adventures mixed up. :P
The Sims 3 for PC/Mac is much better than the iPhone version. I've played The Sims 3 for iPhone on my friend's phone and decided not to buy it myself. It just could not live up to The Sims 3 for the computer. I found that it could entertain me for a little while but I got bored of it very easily.
I understood that I would have to start over back with the original Sunset Valley, but there are supposed to be people in Sunset Valley. You know, like the Goths, Bachelors, etc. I know my custom Sims wouldn't return, but the pre-made Sims are supposed to return. Any reason why they're not showing up? And is there anywhere…
They NEED to add pianos! I have played the piano for 11 years now and not having one in my virtual life is like torture! :x EA lost respect points from me for leaving out the piano.
I totally agree with the OP aside from one thing: if our game doesn't work because of crashing and speed control issues, it's next to impossible to play and enjoy, so we can't really post in this thread, hence all the complaints. If you had problems you'd understand :P But back the main point of the thread. I've played for…
I'd have to say there are 2 things about the game that I really enjoy; 1 for gameplay, one for build/buy mode. As far as gameplay mode goes, I think it is awesome how Sims' personalities really mold the character that they are. For example, I made an evil/daredevil/insane/neurotic/kleptomaniac Sim and they were absolutely…
Sweet! I just checked my avatar and it's got 53 downloads and 1 recommendation! http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=35036 Haha, I didn't know you could check the download count xD Thanks! If I had a bene I'd give it to you BellaDonna :P
I really enjoy giving my Sim family 1 motherlode, building them a decent sized starter home with a car and then growing from there. I can't just use what they're given to start with, it's not nearly enough. And even with a motherlode, I can find several ways to run out of the extra 50,000 simoleans VERY fast. :P
They REALLY need to fix the game ASAP and release a patch. I'm not having crashing issues, I'm just having the stupid speed issue where my game's fast forward buttons do little to speed time up, if anything at all. And then there's the minor glitches where my Sim will walk through trees or rocks... EA, don't wait to make a…
