notebookcheck.net has a list of which games work well with what graphics card. http://www.notebookcheck.net/Computer-Games-on-Laptop-Graphic-Cards.13849.0.html
Is this when the launcher opens? This happened to me also. I hit the play button and the game worked. I haven't had the saving problem, but then I got into the habit of saving every sim-day a long time ago.
I had this problem, too. I logged out of this website, logged back in and my games show up. I guess the games are already registered through origin. I then entered the stuff codes from the links in my email, and they worked.
With the right options chosen, that could be a good machine. The description you copied just gave the available options. Since I know you will probably want to use this for as many years as you can, this is what I would do: I like the processor, memory-wise I would go with at least 8G (if you can afford it the full 16G),…
Raven- Since you have a registration number, its ok to borrow someone else's cd.Or you could buy a replacement cd from EA: https://help.ea.com/article/electronic-arts-warranty-policy Lauren- Some internet providers set a limit on their customers' downloads.
To find which folder your downloads are saving to in Firefox: Left click on "tools" in the menu bar. Left click on "options" In this window about halfway down there should be an option to show downloads window and below it to close downloads window. Uncheck this box. Below this shows what folder to save to. This is where…
Did you try making an exception in DEP? Or could it be running in an extended desktop? A few of the newer computers have extended desktops on by default.
Your Welcome Either go open your ea download manager and update from there or go to http://help.thesims.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2074 and follow the instructions there.
I would get the extra 2G of memory to see if it helps. Your new video card's drivers might be using more memory than the old one, or it might be stealing some system memory. 32 bit windows can only "see" 3.5G of memory, so don't worry if that is all it shows. From what I understand you were running other expansion packs…
I'm sorry, but i think your computer specs are to low for this game. System and graphics memory are just barely enough to play the game, and I would have to look it up, but I don't think your graphics card is supported, and if it is, the Intel cards were notorious for having problems with the game. BTW I have an older…
Have you tried popping them out of bed before their energy bar fills up? Sometimes that works for me, I usually do that if my sims are poor and can't afford the very best bed.
2G of memory is low for even a "business" computer. Most software that I use recommends at least 2 G OVER what the operating system requires. As for the video, my system is 4 years old and my video card is faster than the one in the system you're looking to buy. Do a search for that video card, there is a site I think is…
I noticed that you have a lot of memory. Somewhere in this forum someone posted a fix to make the game recognize more than 2 G, I think because the game was written for 32 bit systems? I'll see if I can find it. http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/186883.page
When I first got my video card , an ATI 2600, it did this with Sims 2. I can't remember which setting I had to change or if all I had to do was update drivers. Everything has been working fine for me since. BTW, I do have a 550 Watt power supply.
In my experience when this happens there is usually a group of people somewhere that can't get where they are going. There will be so many of them that the game seems to freeze. I usually find the jams around the restaurant or at the Broke's house. (I've moved them out and made the house bigger with two exits) I've had to…
