Hey there! There are actually huge communities aside from what you see here on the forums. I know nothing of the dog kennels, but I myself participate in the equine related aspect. http://www.equus-sims.com/ I'm part of this community, you can browse through there and get an understanding from it. I myself have my own…
What games of The Sims 3 you have installed Base sims 3 and Sims 3 Pets. Which OS you are using such as Mac OS X Lion or Windows 7 Windows 7 64-bit What mods you have installed Nrass master controller, overwatch, portrait panel, debug enabler, error trap, woohoer, story progression, awesomemod, and a mod i haven't used…
Well I went ahead and tried it, I successfully made some things including the circle that can be placed around the eye. It's blurry and spiky to make it look like it's actually on fur. The facial marking is also something I made, along with the brand on the leg.
You need to edit the img file, and I just opened up the first basic pattern and it looks pretty simple. You'll need a way to extract the dds file from an already created pattern. I use S3pe and s3oc. I just cloned the first basic patch pattern and then exported the dds. You'll also need a program that can read and save dds…
What are your computers specs? I'm running the game on a laptop with below minimum requirements, but it has a really good graphics card which makes up for it, I don't have any glitches or problems. Um, most the glitches or problems have been fixed with the patch problems, except choppy running horses at racing level 10.…
It's most likely possible to create your own patterns such as hand prints and the circle around the eye. You'd probably have to edit the image files of another duplicated pattern or something. No unfortunately you can't merge your layers in game. I'm not sure if it's possible to merge them at all.
I have the problem too. Actually, they look so weird I can't help but laugh as the horses shake/hop/skip around. D: But I'd rather not laugh at them, it's suppose to be an achievement, not an amusement.
I have an Acer Aspire 5253 bz602 (windows 7). I run the game on mostly high setting(a few are lower because i don't find them necessary), advanced rendering, have had no problems from the laptop. Anything with a higher performance graphics card, and a 2.0 processor would probably do fine though. My processor is actually a…
I have the same thing too. Although I haven't seen a dog or cat stretch out, it's usually the horses for a few seconds. Although I did notice they do it more often if you have Twallan's master controller mod. It doesn't bother me as long as it's not permanent. I've seen dogs teleport into or out of beds.. but nothing else…
I put a cat up for adoption too, just because it only had the dog as company, and the sims practically neglected it. xD I did feel bad. It was for the best though.
Wow that's really strange. I'm not sure what you can do about that D: So the gate only works in one spot? Is it one specific kind of gate? or have you tried different kinds? Or does it apply to every gate?
That's strange, there are options to lock your gates still.. even for pets. I would know because I lock my horses out of the gardens. I think it's a problem with your own game.
I've made several that are up for download. :] Black appaloosa. Sooty Dun(with dapples) Grey Brindle Red roan blanket Appaloosa(also have the original red roan) Palomino Paint I have more, but lack pictures D;
I have an Acer with below minimum specs and I run pets on a high/medium/low combination and the game runs fine. 1.6 processor and AMD Radeon HD 6310. Pets looks fine, and I have fluff.
Using one of your sims, click on the gates, click the lock that specifies something with 'pets' in it. I do it to keep the horses out of the garden. :/

I don't really think so. Getting a better graphics card would. :/ Ram might make your game perform a bit better though, depending on how much you have now?
