 Thank you so much @rosemow! Can I mention that I think the Showcases are one of the better thing to come out of Sims 4? I love that people are putting the links to all of their stuff in one spot. It is less cluttered, and easier to find that way.
@Kamb1403, I particularly wanted to say nice work on the Memorial Park. It's needed right now. Lovely work with the other houses, very simple and practical.
Hi @Cerrydd thank yo for the support. That's a good suggestion, I'm an old school Simmer so I don't always remember that you can move the mailbox. Thank you so much for the support @eternalised & @77soso.
@Thundering_Thega, a few of those things were EP items even in the last game. Maybe go play Sims 2 or 3, and have a look at Sims 4 again in six months or so to see if it is filled out with some of the content that you want? Or even play another game for a bit? Alternately you could even look at modding and seeing whether…
I agree completely, the lack of dishwasher feels a bit weird at times. It's not so much an issue in starters, but when it comes to big houses, you would normally expect someone that was that well off would likely have a dishwasher.
@rosemow, thank you so much for the lovely, detailed and thoughtful feedback. :-) Thank you so much for particularly noticing the layout, I used to get frustrated when EA didn't get the layout right with starters for Sims 2, which is why I particularly put time into that with every single lot. I don't want anyone to get…
Hi Guys I've just uploaded a new lot. It's a Starter which is complete for $17,812 or $19,312 if placed in Pebble Burrow. It has no cc, it includes a chessboard, easel, mirror and bookcase. It has a predominant egg-yellow theme inside. It is built for playability. Here's an exterior. And here's the interior.
Those are a great set of shots. Did you ever see the Fight for your Right to Potty video that one of the Sims 2 simmers did? It was a cracker. Unfortunately there's no way to show you the video because the Sims 2 site has long since dissapeared into the ether. I was impressed because she got a whole heap of autonomous…
@AthenaOnyx, what type of player are you? Do you prefer to build, do legacies or make Sims? I loved that the aspirations are actually more difficult and it takes their whole lives sometimes to fulfill one aspiration. I also love that kids have their own aspirations which affect their outcome as adults. I mainly play…
@Schweighsr, I love all four iterations of the games for different reasons. I've been playing Sims for a long time, and the gameplay hasn't varied that much. But when they added stuff like the child aspirations and that had real consequences on how they developed as an adult, and they made the gameplay more difficult, I…
@enkeli63, I had the bug with item names being replaced by code numbers but it resolved with a reinstall and I was able to use my saved game without issue.
@RoOoAr5, I love that adobe home on page 1, it is just gorgeous and it is the type of home I would have in my own game! They're all beautiful and you do a great job of that white, clean look.
@TheGreenLion, your Temple of Hades lot is amazing, the creativity involved in building that is phenomenal. I have found and favourite'd it in the Gallery.
:) @RyeCris16, thank you so much for the support, I really appreciate it. :D Thank you so much for the nice comment on the shape of the pool! I only found the tip for how to add a half tile on this forum today which let me create the pool I had in my head. It is lovely to be building again, it is making me really happy.
Hi @Yanti68, your stuff is all beautiful but I really loved La Dolce Vita and I have favourite'd it and downloaded it for my game and I am now following you so I can keep track of your creations.
Thank you so much @rosemow! :D I figure that even if Sims are starting out I can still do my best to give them nice surroundings and everything they need to get started. This is the end of building that I love. It is more fun for me when I'm working with a hard limit.
@elanorbreton, thank you so much for starting this thread. Starters are the types of homes I need the most in my game. I've downloaded Flagstone Bungalow and the Dellach Palm House for my game. That looks like it is a perfect upgrade home. I'm also following you now so I should see your stuff come up in the gallery.…
