I love this lot! What a nice experience you had, and what a great idea to use it to make a lot! You put a lot of work into it. Oh, and "moveobjects on" is available as a mod created by TwistedMexican.
The Sims cc artists are part of the draw of the game. The artists have asked for alpha editing capability. I don't want to lose artists because one of their key tools is gone. Please make alpha editing happen!
OK, simple fix! Delete any .package files in Mods/Packages that are patterns! Delete your cache.package files. Using the Dashboard program from Mod the Sims, arrange your list of CC by type (objects, patterns, etc.). In your Mods/Packages folders, delete the file names listed in the Dashboard that are patterns.
I'm having the same problem. From forums in Mod the Sims, I learned that it is either a corrupted cache.package file or a problem with one of the pattern files. I had some success with deleting the cache.package files, which the game recreates the next time it is launched. But the problem's returned, which means I have to…
