Just finished design on the library! :D As a reminder to everyone working on the project: I've been doing interior design on a handful of the community lots. If you're building anything (community lots or private homes) and don't feel like decorating the inside, contact me and I'd love to help you in the process!
Hey everyone! I had to leave town unexpectedly for work, but I'm back and will be resuming work on decorating some of the community buildings. I've started on the basement of the gym. It's got a very serene, spa-like feel. I hope you guys like it when the neighborhood is released!
Just an update on the interior design process: I've scoped out the buildings that need to be "spiffed" and I am more than up to the challenge. I'm going to begin on the gym today and maybe I'll post a screenshot if Twilight gives me the go-ahead. Expect clean lines, sleek decor, and perhaps a spa in the basement.
Well sdlkghsdg. That's what I have to say. In other news- you should all go check out this thread: http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/140395.page Though I can't technically create a neighborhood of my own since I run on a Mac, I fully intend to do my part where I can.
Hi everyone! I'm going to post this on here and also send out an email to the group members. I just wanted to say that as far as the original houses go, if you only feel like building them, I'll be more than happy to wave my interior design wand on them! It is one of my favorite parts of playing, and I know it can be time…
Twilight- I just emailed you the file for my Sim-self and I will have the Pleasant family complete and sent to you within the next day or two, so be on the lookout for that! Also, @ Ruthless_kk- Even if you're not interested in re-creating homes from the Sims 1, there is still new terrain that needs filling. You'll have to…
When the heck is a guru going to get on here and start giving us a little info? It's been almost a month since CAW was released for windows and this thread was started. A little acknowledgement would go a long way.
Twilight, this all looks beyond description! The Newbies' house looks frighteningly similar to the original, way to go! I'll have my avatar to you as soon as I figure out how to make one :) Also, feel free to email me with any other family you want me to tackle.
Thanks for the visual aid, but there's no button. I've checked both in shop/build mode and also on the main menu. It's just blank like it was pre-patch. I guess this is another thing to add to the 1.8 glitch list.
It was said it was included in patch 1.8 which I just downloaded. A tutorial bubble prompted me to learn how to access The Sims Store from my game when I entered buy mode. However, the tutorial never starts when you click "yes".
Two questions (and I'm not trying to sound like a 🐸🐸🐸🐸 on purpose, I promise): 1. If our mac is outfitted with bootcamp, you're saying we will be able to download and use CAW-Beta? 2. Assuming we can't do the above, will we (mac users) be able download non-mac users' CAW creations from the exchange and import them into our…
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! These links were all helpful and I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed that the next patch fixes all this mess! :? Happy Holidays!
I did a pretty thorough sweep to make sure all CC was removed (including hair and clothing), and still the blue blocks appear. I resigned myself to starting a new neighborhood and as I'm Edit Town mode getting things how I want them- the whole game crashes. This has happened twice. I've been scanning all the posts even…
So downloaded the patch to get my game up to 1.7 (I don't have WA). I went to start playing, made it to the loading screen, but after the green bar loads completely- the game crashes. This has happened every time I've tried to play so far after downloading 1.7. Any suggestions?
