@yanti68 .. well since you deleted the old one, there will be noting to overwrite so the save will be new. I save the builds in my library first to double-check before uploading them to the gallery, just to be sure. @calisane: thanks! I am overwhelmed by the response and tempted to make another large period build. But I…
thank you all! I have tried to upload it to the gallery but it states that the original was by: csm_personaname. It is still in my library until I have found a work around as it wont state my name as the creator.
After enduring numerous crashes I have successfully finished the build. Just a note, only the first floor is furnished since my computer seem to no longer handle the build. Perhaps i'll finish the furnishing when time comes. Name: Château d'Orléans Price: 300k+ simoleons Lot: 50x50 Uploaded: Not yet :pensive: More pics…
yeaaahh... I redid the gardens as they too crowded and the awfully high hedge blocked the view of the fountains... This the current layout.. more spacious and I can actually fit a few benches inside... who likes a useless garden anyway.. can't even view flowers, eh. There is a small courtyard inside, another excuse to…
thanks @rosemow . I wonder on why I keep on making huuuuge builds when I know my pc can't handle it. I guess i'll just minimize the furnishings. Almost there .... well not quite.. does anyone here knows how to save a room? These fountain segments [image below] took me quite a deal of patience to make, and I still need to…
yep, it's hard to make the gardens ... i really wish they included the low hedge fence from TS3. I'm trying to recreate this garden [image for visualization included] from my unfinished... still unfinished and will never be finished, old TS3 WIP Btw, the build might take longer than I expected, due to incessant crashes.…
I'm also the same for harvestable plants. Btw, didnt they patch the reszing thing? [Lots with scaled objects (via the shift + [,] cheat) that are shared to the Gallery will now remember their enlarged state for others to enjoy.] Is it still broken?
The facade was inspired by Château de Maisons-Laffitte. I tried making an exact replica but it was too small so I extended the building at the back and added two towers. Now I'm gonna have some hard time creating a believable french formal garden where all the in-game plants are a bit "tropical" Btw, does anyone know if…
You can always drag dishes to dishwashers in TS3. I thought you can do that in every sims game until I had TS2. Oh the horrors of having sims clean dishes.. can't even be deleted -_- D'ya know that there are moving trains?! [you folks prolly did know already. But I don't haha] And there are moving cars! Too bad they're…
Your sim can spontaneously combust just from warming themselves. My sim was just having a nice breakfast and autonomously warmed himself from the nearby fireplace. He did not even stand. He just sat there and extended his arms, then poof! he bursted into flames! He's even like 3 tiles away from the fireplace! Good thing…
TS2 cooking animation at the counters. I love how they get a knife from a drawer and a pot from below. Unlike in TS3 where everything appeared magically.
oooh~ Legacy! That's great :) . Always loved legacy stories, has that touch of sentimentality to it. Although it might be harder to keep track of previous generations due to lack of family, nor immortalize previous heirs by painting portraits. But i'm sure you can think of some ways and am very excited. Cheers, oni~
