• I went into My documents folder > Electronic Arts > Ths Sims 3 > Saves and renamed the backup version to the regular version (just taking ".backup" off the end of it) and now I have my sim family back :) ETA: Just realised you said you're on a Mac and did this already. Sorry, I can't help :(

• I was a bit worried about my one sim Avery Grace who moved out from the Hart family home, she just seemed to carry on, but then I checked on her every so often and she ended up having 2 kids, but no husband or boyfriend to speak of lol. Couple of one night stands by the looks of things LOL!

• I tested mine on "Can you run it" and it said my laptop failed on CPU... I just tried it because, well you never know lol, and it runs fine on it - just the same as playing on the main computer :) How cool is that, thanks for the heads up.
