Why does EA have such a fascination with filth and sickness? It was bad enough with having woohoo in the same bushes sims use for an outdoor bathroom. Now they are introducing woohoo in dumpsters cause the smell of rotting garbage is such an aphrodisiac. I watched the beginning of the live stream but the whole thing makes…
I hate the seasons xp and have hated it in every iteration of the sims. I do not want rain or snow in my game. But since I buy everything they put out I have to suffer through it. It ruins the look of the game. Haaaate it.
It is definitely one of my favorite xps for 3. I would love something similar. I'm not one to want an exact duplicate. I prefer a new take on things. sort of a fresh perspective.
There are other games besides Sims. I get bored in all the sims games after awhile. For me there is so much stuff that I have never even tried in both Sims 3 and 4. I tend to do the same stuff over and over in both games. Everyone seems to jump on the Sims 4 hate bandwagon whenever the subject of boredom comes up. I think…
I totally didn't like sims 3 when it first came out. It took until Supernatural for me to really get into it but I still liked sims 2 best. When I got 3 installed on my latest computer I have not been able to stop playing. It is far from perfect but it is so much fun and there is so much in this game I haven't even tried.…
@igazor, Yes! I am slowly beginning to pick up on some of these things. I'm remembering stuff I used to know but have forgotten from not getting to play 3 for so long. All these posts have really helped. 3 is a more complex game I think overall than 2. I read in here a lot since installing the game and sometimes am really…
I think I am starting to get the hang of things. So much good advice, thanks Sims3 people. I've had sims get mad at my sim for asking where they went to school or for talking about something the target sim isn't interested in. Like, "How dare you mention the weather!" In sims2 you learn how to work around pitfalls like…
Well whether or not my sims ever find love I am having a ton of fun playing 3 again. And I am definitely gonna check out the mod we aren't suppose to mention.
Does Hopeless romantic help? If so I will give everyone that trait. I am so used to S2 that I don't really remember what 3's trait system is like. I only use Overwatch, MC, and Relativity. I tend to avoid mods that require a lot of set up and stuff. I don't use SP for that reason but I might try the mod you suggested and…
The first forum poll I voted for Science & Tech but after reading their description of it in the official poll I changed my mind. Arts and Crafts and then Happy Haunts. The others sound awful the way they described them.
I had to enroll online to chose my options. Although I didn't check my mailbox again so you guys are probs right. Thanks everyone for helping. Anyone else trying to figure this out you can enroll by comp or through the mailbox! Maybe if I had finished uni when I was young I'd have been able to figure it out. ;>}
Strangerville, and whatever the celebrity world is called are the only ones I've never played at all. I no longer go to or play in Brindleton Bay because of all the diseased and suffering cats and dogs. I think it was sick to set it up that way. I'm sorry to complain but it really bothers me.
I haven't touched Strangerville or Get Famous. I really haven't done much with Get Weather or whatever it is called besides live in it. I just usually buy whatever they put out and play with the stuff I like like Sulani and Magic.
I did stop playing and was brought back by Island Living and ROM. I'm not bothered by a lot of the things that drive other simmers crazy. I still play Sims 2 and really miss multitasking when I play it. I miss how pretty everything is too. None of the iterations is perfect so I kind of accept them for what they are.
I'm not finding it too easy at all. I am jumping between 2 different spellcasting families but it is taking me a long time to level up. My spellcasting sisters both just reached acolyte. My single spellasting male is really struggling. Part of that is because I don't quite have it all figured out. He kept losing magic…
Made spellcasting sisters, moved them into the little house in glimmerbrook, skilled and got to know the area. Waited till the next day to go to the magic realm to start learning stuff. Put a cauldron on their lot too. Love the cauldrons.
I'm having fun with it. I started a new game so it wouldn't have any effect on my other game while I found out what it's like. Glad I did since there does seem to be a problem with premades becoming spellcasters without my control. I don't usually play premades so it is not a big deal and I want this game to be mostly…
I had forgotten what it was like to be so excited about a new sims pack. This is an amazing feeling and so ridiculous at my age to be so wound up. Gonna go to the gym and turn this excitement towards something physical for a while. When I get home it will only be a half hour or so till download time. Yay!
