Good question! I want to know too. How about 3D Studio Max models? What format do you have to export? Is there a tutorial somewhere about making and importing your own 3D content? I really want to make cacti. I'm annoyed that there's no cactus to put in my desert world :(

I'm building a world with no jobs. I have enough work in my REAL life, I want my Sims to have a life with NO JOB (except painting, gardening, etc) I will probably add a Spa just because what fun is it to be unemployed if you can't go get a massage :mrgreen: What I'm saying is, do what you want! I have a lot of layers because I like organization :) You know you can name the layers right? That makes it so easy to find things.

For me, I open one of the EA images and edit it. That way it is already the same size, already the right everything. Just put your new texture right on top of it and resave under a new name. It is already saving to the correct directory because you opened it from there. Same for height maps.

Before I play the sims or CAW, I restart my computer in diagnostic mode. That way none of the startup items that eat up memory will interfere. It makes a huge difference. I agree, there should be a way to move to the vacation places or at least an indefinite vacation :) My Sim is very wealthy, so she doesn't need a job or anything! You should be able to retire to a different location if you want to.

I installed it and it fixed the major problem I was having where I couldn't complete the mission where you go from China to France to talk to the nectar merchant and get admitted to the Dragon Cave. I have now completed the mission and I just got the Axe and I'm very happy! So yes, it helped me.
