I, too, suffer from computer menu lag (among other annoying, yet not game-breaking bugs), but having to save literally every 5 minutes is getting on my nerves. The game crashes at such random times and so often, that I have actually had it crash ON saving. And whenever I mention this to tech support, I get the "clear Xbox…
The look on my Aunt's face after I fed on her in my despair over the death of our family dog. You knocked on the wrong door at the wrong time, Auntie... (my oblivious Mom in the background...)
So...how about that? Just my luck: once I decided to have my teenage Goth daughter ask to be turned into a Vampire, EVERY day has been sunny and hot! I guess I just needed to inconvenience one member of my family to appease the others :D
I agonized over the decision for a couple of hours, but finally decided to have my Goth teen ask to turn!
I mean, I love the seasons element, I just wish it was more 'balanced'. I've seen the option to turn off thunderstorms or be able to alter the weather, but as much as my Sims family are a fantasy world, I do try to allow fate to dictate a lot of things. I actually had a child taken away from me, because he refused to eat…
so I've noticed...now. After building my home to exactly how I want it. I was playing a shorter season, so I thought I was being clever lengthening the season so I'd have a better chance to have a few more days of sun. Nope....may be time to pack up and move...
Finally became a member (thanks to so many of you wonderful folks for helping me achieve that!), so to celebrate, my revamped Candy Behr decided to perform a musical number to celebrate! :)
oh, I so agree with this thread! My dog is either A: sick; B: unhappy or C: refusing to sleep. I give a ton of attention, take for jogs/walks, treats, etc and he just stands an whimpers. I take him (when he is sick), get the most expensive treatment and boom: unhappy again. I find myself getting far more angry with him…
I had columns that I couldn't remove with any other option outside of the sledgehammer. I usually could click and sell, but not those pesky columns at my home!
Regardless of what they are, I have to tip the hat to EA for at least continuing to support Sims 4 as long as they have (over 6 years). I know some see them as using DLC, etc as a cash grab, but I personally would rather build on my financial and personal investment on this game than to "re-start" with Sims 5...
I remember playing The Sims Online when it came out years and years ago and was so disappointed. I know things have changed for the better with most online games, but I've seen many franchises I love make the switch and/or add an on-line element and it seems like they focus more on that and micro-transactions than they do…
I had an Elder who took care of my children and when they were toddlers and she'd feed them, there were times when she'd say something that soundly horribly like "Choking? Who says their Choking?" and then she'd laugh! I would walk around my house saying that to my dog all the time!
I guess I'd like moderate modding. Nothing too extreme, but wouldn't mind it limited to CAS items. I see so many incredibly talented folks online with their PC created materials and I'm so envious of not only their talent but the finished work. I liked how the mods for Fallout 4 and Skyrim turned out overall
I agree - I'm not so much concerned with watching my gamer score go up, but there's something oddly satisfying striving for a goal and being rewarded with the sounder/pop up!
I've been contemplating a vampire family and was wondering the same thing...just having two made me nervous! But, after learning how to monitor and maintain, I was able to add two more...eventually :)
I can see both sides of this issue: but, it seems that PC folks are better off, as they are able to mod their game. I can see where it's tougher for console players (like myself), as we are probably always going to be saddle with a more "teen-friendly" edition of the game. I agree with many of you who aren't looking for a…
It's a toss-up between Sims 1 and Sims 4. Sims 1 might actually get the nod, because it was the springboard into this addiction I call Simism! Plus, I found the looming threat of death for my Sim so much more prevalent, as any attempt to use my stove could be my last! But, Sims 4 has become my overall most played…

I absolutely LOVE not only these photos, but also the intricate stories that accompany them. I always felt awkward that I had created stories for my Sims over the years; building scenarios for the why I did certain things and I feel so much better about myself knowing I wasn't alone - so, thank you all for posting your…
> @WhatCobblers said: > I remember really enjoying Sims 1 as a child, particularly Superstar and Making Magic expansion packs. One thing that has stuck in my mind was the music (I can still hear the yodelling in On Holiday). I used to find some of the sound effects when a sim did something bad quite disturbing: if you…
