yet another return from a long absence. Looking forward to Cats & Dogs...perhaps this will get me into playing Sims 4...it was that way with Sims 3 so I kind of can't wait!

No. I do not think we'll get create a world. Would be nice, but would also be nice to get another empty world that's styled differently than the one we have.

We're not too far off from a quarter 2 teaser video. Hopefully we get an EP in Q2 and we see some hotel related things. I wish I could manifest this into being.

Since they've confirmed base game will be free, of course I'll try it out. May even get a Pets and Seasons DLC once those are released since those are essential to me for the game. Unless of course I just absolutely hate the game. Will really have to think about the rest though.

Game Pack would be enough for me. Though they've had a history of going light on the EPs, I honestly can't see them filling out an EP with things relating to death/funerals/etc.

Castle theme. Definitely more into the build/buy stuff than CAS. I"ll be getting both though.

While they've given us some things for free, I can't see these being free. Hopefully they would at least just be in a Stuff Pack, or part of something larger.

I really think Hotels, Time Travel (past or future) and Hobbies are the three themes they may pull from. Renaissance Festivals/Fairs - now that we have horses and we're getting the medieval kit next year, I don't think there'll be enough content to have a full EP (although with how lite EPs have been on content who knows.) Some kind of tavern, archery/wooden sword fighting area, market, and perhaps even an entertainment forum…

Wow I'm actually surprise it can be played on the Steam Deck at all, given how it ties into origin on the PC.

FWIW i'm still planning to buy this pack...but this really still feels like it should have been a GP at most. The build/buy will drag me in as usual of course. It's also annoying that it seems like the game is soooo close to hotels with this pack, but they just stopped short. It does give me home for a hotels pack though…

Interesting to see what would be so controversial that there's a heads up on it already, though since it's not official but in-the-know, it should definitely be taken with that grain of salt you mentioned, if not a mountain. Disappointing though? Sure.

That would have been amazing. Color wheel or even a color palette, giving us 16 minimum or even 32 different colors for certain parts of the design. Totally can do without create a pattern (though I miss the animal prints!) but a color wheel/palette is sorely missed.

Late october with maybe 2-3 weeks before release date. EPs are now releasing on Thursdays or Fridays, so it mixes up what date to look at. Could be any of 11/9, 11/10, 11/16 or 11/17, so the reveal could be anywhere from the 16th to even as late as the first week of November.

While I'd love hotels, they're my #1 wanted thing now, I can't see how they'd fit in a "neighborly" type of theme. I know it's a vague term anyways but it brings to my mind strengthening local ties, not introducing a feature that would likely focus on transitory, short term visitors.

Either of the African worlds actually. I don't think we've ever had an African themed world in the entire series unless you count World Adventures's Egypt type world (can't remember the name of it), which is not really representative of most of Africa.

Immediately. If we don't buy the first stuff pack we've had in a long time, how will the team know we like stuff packs.

8, I held off the first 2 years because there were so many bugs talked about, and at first you couldn't even build pools or basements! I think when the second pack came around I decided to go for it as it was on sale at that point.

That would work too. The main reason I had 3 different smaller worlds was to give us 3 different type of building themes, so just having those it build/buy would be fine by me.

Oh I hope so but I'd much rather see going back in time than going forward in time. However, with the castle kit coming next year and then horses out now, I don't know what else they'd put in to pad out the pack.

Getting more objects for pools would be great, but that's probably not going to happen in a kit. Reskins yes, but really missing waterslides, which could still be in a gameplay kit if they were to ever bring those pack. Maybe a base game up date and then some reskins for a kit?
