It's the one mod that is a must have for me. I'm the opposite of the poster above in that I use it for story progression primarily and don't generally bother with the dresser. It's just so useful for a variety of reasons/gameplay styles. Since I'm a binge Sims player, updates are easy for me. I just keep my settings file…
OP had a serious reaction to seeing even a pixel animal suffer, then used this medium to assuage their emotions. It's weird that people are being called bullies when they are simply stating their opinion, just as OP did. No one has called OP names, or insulted them. Being told that they may need to seek some therapy for…
Interesting way to play. Seems like too much work to me; keeping track of how much to pay a sim. That said, there's some interesting ideas in this thread. I like the cupcake one and the frog breeding one. I wonder if Pets will allow us to breed/sell pets!?
Sometimes I just try to do a (shorter) challenge. I usually don't make it past two generations (even in TS2/TS3) before I feel like doing something else. I have never finished a Legacy challenge because I can't build for shizz, especially when it's an add on to what I have situation. Additionally, I get bored with a family…
I'm all for balance, sure. However, there are some traits that really should influence things so much more than they do. The bookworm trait is a great example of this. If my bookworm sim needs fun, their first autonomous action to gain fun should be reading a book, not watching tv, not dancing, not playing a video game,…
Outdoor Retreat was such a let-down to me... Probably my biggest disappointment in add-on content so far. Another vacation destination would be cool, I guess. I'd rather see a Witches GP, though.
I've even had a Vamp go to work during the day and appear to be burning during their entire work shift, with energy completely depleted by the end of the shift. When they returned home, they were fine and and energy restored to its previous level. The only problem then is that they freakin' stand outside in the sun for an…
Have to disagree on the Sorcerer thing, but that's just a matter of opinion. I want Witches! I wouldn't mind a gamepack that covers Wizards, Witches, and Sorcerers that all had similar abilities, with slight differences between them. Then there's Warlocks too... ugh it can get out of hand. COVENS should be a thing,…
I also have no problems with this. Those are the only two mods I use. Happy buffs changed to fine has helped expose underlying emotions quite a bit in my game, but doesn't resolve the lack of trait influence on automatic behaviors. Traits need to have a much stronger influence on autonomous actions than they do, period.
The Middleton Children have reached their teenage years alive. Someone started a fire with the kids science experiment (I wasn't looking), which burned down everything in their bedroom. The family did make it outside, but stood their 🐸🐸🐸🐸 themselves and stinking for over 12 hours while the fire rampaged through the…
The Middletons made it through toddlerhood with everyone alive and present, if if not exactly well. Due to lack of funds, the butler was fired on Friday. Tori and Johnny had the weekend off anyway. I do wonder if the toddlers would have done better going to daycare because by Wednesday the butler really wasn't helping…
Not sure what happened but Priscilla got so filthy with a diaper rash and everything that when she asked for a bath, the game spammed it at the butler and then crashed. LOL
Meet the Middletons Mother: Tori - Gloomy, Family Oriented, Foodie, Domestic Father: Johnny - Neat, Childish, Cheerful, High Metabolism Daughters: Ruby (Inquisitive) and Priscilla (Charmer) Sons: Bentley (Wild) and Ronan (Independent) Just getting started. Johnny is a great father, pottytraining, playing, feeding the kids.…
This is going to sound like a crazy work around but... if you replace your lot with a house that only has the vampire bassinets, the babies will be in those after the swap. So, if it mattered enough to me (and in some cases it might) I would save my current lot, go plop it somewhere else, change the bassinets, save it to…
Oh, lol! I thought there was some secret setting I didn't know about. I seem to have elders with toddlers. They must've been about to age up when the children were born or something. Would those elders get moved out? If so, what would happen to their toddlers?
Okay, I'll check that out. Next, about the moving. There's an option to move out Elders into a retirement home. Sounds nifty, however, how does one designate a retirement home. I'm not sure how this setting works.
