Ahh... well boo! I appreciate the reply.. tho I am disappointed to know it's supposed to behave that way. I see a lot of breaking up and remarrying in my couple's future. A baby between a human and a bot would be the awesomeness.
Sorry you aren't feeling well! To add to my last post, I had my sim and her bot breakup and then remarry. Once they were remarried and the newlywed icon was there, the "be frisky" option reappeared. I will be watching the moodlet and see if the option disappears again once it wears off. The "my love" moodlet is back again…
In a nutshell: The moment my sim creates her first sentient chip, her husband plumbot loses the ability to 'be frisky.' This is without her even installing it into him. Given that so many people seem to think that sims and plumbots can't woohoo (I notice, for instance, that Carl's guide says it's not possible), I'd guess…
A row of gnomes! A row of sim heads igloo, treehouse, snowman, simbot, bonehilda A gem rock, a space rock, a seed, a flower, silhouettes of a mermaid, a werewolf, a vampire, a genie and a fairy
Alien Brainpower isn't deteriorating. I got this particular alien in Lunar Lakes by having a sim marry her, then she divorced him and kicked him out (all in one night.. lol). Anyway, I moved her over to Isla Paridiso and have noticed that her brain power isn't deteriorating at all. I don't know if it worked correctly in…
@heychay: Try ceejay's suggestion and also check if you have the same issue in a new game. If both fails, I'll add Yes, I'd tried replacing the telescope. As I mentioned in my last edit, I did finally get them to land when I moved to the large main island (still had the issue on the smaller one). HOWEVER, the "door" issue…
My sim is living on Plumbob Island and aliens don't seem to land. He stops what he's doing, stands there, and eventually the icon to investigate disappears. I thought at first it might be a space issue, so i flattened the land, cleared off some wide spaces of trees. But again, just now, it happened again. He stopped…
My sim is constantly learning the athletic skill. I'm not sure what point it started, she swam, snorkled, did cardio with the radio and jogged in one day.. and I didn't notice the bar was still over her head until i was saving the game (she was sleeping at the time). Some things that might be worth noting: She loves to…

Since the new patch was installed, I've been having two issues that I am aware of so far: 1. My game crashes *frequently* when going into town view. 2. Snow Angels. I make them, stand up, and then just stall until I manually cancel it. I have deleted cache files, including the world cache folder, several times.. nothing…
Okay, a few issues to report. First issue: In Aurora Skies. When I'd have my child werewolf sim drink the potent cure to cure his werewolf curse, he'd cure fine.. but then when I'd try to save the game, the game would freeze while saving. I tried this several times and the issue would always occur after he used the cure. I…
@crinrict: I suppose I should have added that I had both the mother and the daughter standing right outside beside the curb for at least three attempts to get them to do the "learn to drive". The mom would get in, wait, then take off driving. The daughter would never get in, even when standing right by the curb.
Okay... more bugs here. The first one I'm pretty sure is a patch 1.50 issue (tho i can't swear to that, it just reminds me of the refrigerator problem). The rest are university. Kind of like the issue I was having with the refrigerator... when my sim tried to teach her daughter how to drive, the mom would get in the car,…
This issue started with the big patch (1.50 i believe it's called?). When my sim travels away from home (and this has just started with going to University as well), when they get home, they can no longer access the refrigerator. They just stand there for a while, then get that "something is in the way" bubble over their…
Thanks for the replies. I've got a ton of this stuff in my sim's personal storage right now. Hopefully EA will get on the ball with fixing it some time soon. If I have to hand these down for generations, I'm gonna cry.
I've had the same issue with my fairy and her werewolf boyfriend. They've "tried for a baby" more times than I can count. Before I restarted my town they didn't even have the option to go steady. Since I restarted it, they now have the going steady/marriage options but they still can't get pregnant. :(
I have the same issue as well. It chimes ALL the time, and there's nothing in there to retrieve. I've placed it as far away from my sim's house as I can get it, and that helps, but it would be nice to be able to shut it off!
