On Carl's Guide to the Sims, it says that if an alien has a baby with another Sim with supernatural powers, it will only have the powers of the fairy/werewolf/etc.
I don't know the answer to your qeustion but I do feel your pain. =/ It's very irritating how you have to fight to not be a celebrity!! Celebrity status should not be so easily attained.
True! I do still have every expansion pack for The Sims and The Sims 2 on their own shelf of honor in my living room. The Simmer below me thinks Ambitions is the best expansion pack so far.
It wouldn't be nearly as bad if the imaginary friends weren't given to every child. Because not every kid has an imaginary friend in real life! But I've never turned one into a real Sim and have no plans to. I just don't care for them at all.
I'm pretty excited for this expansion pack as well and have been missing an expansion like this ever since Makin' Magic. I don't think the EP will be too disappointing (I'm sure it'll have its downfalls), but I think the thing I will be disappointed in is the vampires. I seriously can not stand the vampires we currently…
I agree with you!! The idea of mermaids sounds lovely and your ideas for how to add them to them game actually sounds really plausible. And I think it would have fit into the supernatural theme. I mean, they're adding fairies. That's not too far off from a mermaid in my opinion of mystical creatures.
I agree, the inability to call a recurring babysitter is something that shouldn't have been taken out! And what's the point of having a daycare if you can't actually put your kids in it? Quite silly, really...
Well I got it and it has been a whole lot of crashing. I finally was able to fix it after literally starting the sims anew. But if you want a taste of it, the word around the forum is that the latest patch gives you fountains, half walls, cas sliders, astronomy signs, etc even if you don't have late night.
Bridgeport is it's own neighborhood so you can't just drive over and visit it. You'd have to literally transfer your sim and household to that neighborhood.
Once Sims 2 was released, it made Sims 1 just look super cheesy. And then once Sims 3 came out, it blew Sims 2 out of the water. I have every single expansion pack from 1 & 2 neatly stacked in a bookshelf, but they never get playing time anymore.
